I got the S21 Ultra exactly for the zoom. 10x optical absolutely blows the Pixel 5 zoom out of the water. I take a lot of photos of amusement parks and roller coasters, and the S21 Ultra absolutely delivers what I need in a camera.
What about battery
My zoom power has suddenly diminished noticeably. Is there a way to. force the camera to use the 10x or 100 times zoom lens?

I had the LG V40 Thinq which was a camera tank when it released (4 lenses in 2017). I knew I needed something to be as good and better. I went with this S21 Ultra and so far am very impressed. And I will tell you the zoom is important as a parent with kids who play sports and we sit so far away. This zoom works and is important for me in that circumstance.

Yes, but they manage to build a good phone with earphone and memorycard slot. Its a pitty that they sell so little that it is unsertain if they are on the phone market in 2 years or less. I personaly dont want to buy anything made in China but it is getting harder.

There is more logic if the name is spelled fully: Sony Xperia 1 mark 2 (that follows the Sony Xperia 1, which is mark 1 by default). They name their cameras in the exact same way, Sony Alpha 7 mark 3, Sony Alpha 7R mark 4, etc.

Amazing review and so much focus on the details (pun DEFINITELY intended). I've had my S21 Ultea and I absolutely adore it hands down. My only issue with this is powerhouse is the expandable storage and the Bluetooth S-Pen. While I am completely satisfied with the support for the S-Pen that lacks Bluetooth capacity, I'd love to have a pen that stores within the device itself. The expandable storage is a big drop in calling this phone "Ultra," but Samsung has definitely raised the bar and smashed the competition. I love this phone 1 year later as much as I did from the release date when I purchased it! Keep up the great work. Wonderful videos! Can you do a full explanation of what make the Snapdragon so good?

If you get the 512GB you'll mostly be fine, but remember many Note9/S10e/S10/S10+/Note10+/Note20 Ultra/S20/S20+/S20Ultra users have 1.5TB or even 2TB capacity phones in their hands, and the ability to carry several additional 1TB or less microSD cards to switch on the go for virtually unlimited capacity.
@@21753117 Okay? Again I'm sitting on a Original day 1 Galaxy S6 with 65gb of memory. Which does not have a SD memory option. Moving to the S21 Ultra with 120+gb of memory and no SD card option. So like I said before, I understand why people are annoyed by this. But as for me personally this being a 1000% improvement all around for capabilities of the phone itself. Oh and that 5G access to the cloud and live streaming. It's not that big a deal...

I've been using samsung a32 for 3 years and got s 21 ultra but can't really tell a huge difference except a cool design
One huge reason I appreciate the zoom capabilities in the S21U is my brother runs track and that 10x optical zoom at 4k 60fps...omg zooming in when he runs at the opposite side of the track, that's so much better than the 10x digital zoom. You can never go back to digital zoom!

The size was a bit jarring due to the fact that my old phone was tiny, and I like to wear basketball shorts, so the weight of it kinda pulled them down a bit when I wouldn't tie them. But the size and weight were the only things I didn't like at first. It's awesome to have a good camera and a HD display for once. Definitely worth the price imo.

Feel like Samsung is starting to learn it’s not all about the big numbers, but also how well something works.
To an extent I agree but also disagree. Samsung is certainly focusing on user experience and interface, but I also feel no matter how well the Samsung phones work by themselves and even in combination with the rest of the Samsung ecosystem, nothing ever pleases some iPhone users.
When I show the Samsung ecosystem off to customers everyone says wow I just wish I wasn't already invested $3.5K deep into apple's ecosystem.
I get where you're coming from but there are other people out there that make me question the purpose of even talking to people.

Like I used to have an old windows laptop with an HDD in it, and it was awful but the moment I bought the Samsung Galaxy Book Flex 15 for $700 on Ebay, my experience has been seamless between my brand new Galaxy Buds Pro, Watch 3, and Note 20 Ultra 512. I also installed a 1TB 970 EVO Plus into my Galaxy Book Flex and used the thunderbolt port to project it onto a 34" Gigabyte G34WQC UltraWide Monitor, and then I bought a Fully Jarvis Standing desk and a Logitech MX Craft Keyboard and MX Master 2S.
I now have a Galaxy Book Flex operating at 1440P 144hz on my external monitor and I have a whole brand new desktop setup, and my whole entire point to this rant is that you can have JUST as great of an experience on Windows as you can on a Mac, and the same goes with Samsung vs Apple.
But it's up to you.

This phone would be a massive leap forward for us - we're using a bargain basement Oppo and an iPhone 6 at the moment. We can't even begin to imagine how much better the user experience will be when we get our hands on this! 🤩

I’m an iOS user since the 2007 I have had every single iPhone since the original iPhone I used to ridicule Samsung and android but in 2021 I saw the Samsung galaxy s21 ultra and fell in love with it and decided to buy it and give it a try. This phone is absolutely amazing I’ll never go back to iPhone.

I was actually looking for a mirrorless camera, but when I saw all of the lens options on the S21 Ultra, I put on hold buying a new camera. After much research and watching comparisons, I went with the S21 Ultra. I am into macro photography, and this phone/camera won hands down in the comparisons I watched. I am the furthest thing from a techie you could find; thankfully there are tons of You Tube videos and tutorials out there. So far, I am super happy with my choice. I will still get a mirrorless camera down the road (probably). Good luck with your journey! :)

I do love my s9. I've had it since 2018, and was running a s4 before that. I keep my phones a long time, and the main reason I'm upgrading now, rather than continuing to use the s9, is I take lots of pictures and look forward to a better screen and camera array.

@@ibggetsemani1206 2021 is my year to upgrade my life....got 250 in accessories with pre-order so I got the charger, S-pen/case combo and the new earbuds in the phantom black to match the phone. With this price I'm not buying another phone for another 3years at least

Had the S8+ .... now worth $40 lol. Day 1 with my S21 Ultra .... I couldn't put it down. So many more features. Glad I didn't upgrade any sooner. Well worth waiting a while.
