The reason why their is a lag is because of the shutter speed. If the shutter speed was faster their wouldn't be much of a lag

I was gonna say, there’s an option you gotta turn to “Natural” in the camera settings to fix the color problem..
The pictures themselves aren’t pink tho, just the screen

My s21u exynos have pink screen problem too. Change the settings does notthing. It’s just panel problem i think.

Finally upgrading from the s8 and am going for the s21 ultra. Im planning to use it with a lapdock as my main laptop and wanted the extra ram, battery, and s pen support for note taking in college. Im pumped to get it in a week

Oh gosh same here. From S8 to S21U. I really underestimated the weight and size of S21U. S8 is still fully functional and good, but the operation differentiate the most in the smoothness of transition. How about you, how's the S21U experience so far?

i cringed i cant lie XD
got my s21 ultra in silver yesterday and it's an amazing phone. even just holding it, it feels like an expensive and quality piece of tech. no regrets specs wise, however i wish i went with the black - but the silver is just as nice. i'll probably invest in the s pen later down the line. however i just upgraded from the note 10+ and rarely used the pen at all so i could easily do without it.
I think a lot of issues that popped up in this could be caused by having an early model with early software. A lot of this could be fixed with optimization. I'd give it at least a couple weeks after launch.
That's what I was thinking also. Like the brightness or color changes in skin tone. That could possibly change through software updates.

the phone is already at retailers, it is on sale in 5 days. you really think they're still working on tweaking the software before go live? get real, the phone is done and dusted, it's coming out and this man has the same product as what we'll get when it's released.
Yes, maybe they'll patch it after 2 weeks but personally I don't think that's realistic. This software has been in the works for months, and has already been available on the S20 range.
@@dedpxl He has had the phone since before the announcement, which developers usually come out with patches before its official retail release.
samsung has already released an update that fixes camera stability issues as well as some other things. i noticed yesterday that the camera in 100x zoom was laggy. but after the update it's definitely not as bad.
It's like he's vlogging with a vlogging camera not a phone camera, the quality is out of this world

@Can Polat Nah its the opposite lmao the samsung added saturation to the sky, iPhones were always more true to tone... the samsung had so much noise in the room, and the selfie camera just makes the face look kinda scrunched up. There’s also a lot of shutter lag on the samsung

Yeah, I'm not liking how every reviewer emphasizes the camera so much. Camera doesn't even hit top 3 priority for most people. Screen, battery and speed are more important imo
Least for me the camera is one of the most important things on a potential new phone as I use mine all the time. Given how good most phone cameras are nowadays though I don’t really feel it’s worth spending lots of time talking about them on most devices. The S21 Ultra I’d say is one of the few exceptions just because the setup is still fairly unique compared to everything else.

I was just thinking this. I've actually noticed the color shift in other videos but figured it was just how it captured it on video since nobody mentioned it. You can really tell in reviews where the S21 with the 1080p flat display is next to the S21 Ultra. The S21 looks more accurate when there is a lot of white on the screen. I'm glad UAC confirmed it because I was seriously starting to wonder what was up!

yeah price down? so if you want a 500GB you pay only 300 euro extra now instead of a card wich costs like maybe 60 euro (dunno price, but its not 300 euro for a 500 GB SB card)
@@SSDavyS also keep in mind that cards can go from phone to phone. The internal storage you pay for time and time again.
Especially the last 2 years we have not seen internal BASE storage increase, they remain at 128GB for that reason.

I would say that it's better to have the S Pen on the Note because then it's integrated on your phone and you also get all the S Pen features but you know, some people don't like the squareness of the Note so this is an option for them :)

The display has options for Vivid or Normal/Natural - the S21 Ultra's display may have been in the Vivid mode, which is why it may look different from the more accurate look on the monitor.

I was an iphone user for a few years, and got back to androids when the Note 20 Ultra came out. One thing that always gets to me about samsungs phones, is the whole camera situation. I LOVE the phone, but the cameras are just weird. Like in this video, the quality is just odd. Its good quality, but its just good, its not great. Even with laser focus it still has a hard time in certain focus situations. Not hating on this phone or any others, just sharing my experiences with them! Hopefully they keep improving the overall camera system though!
you can make the screen colors more accurate by changing them in the accessibility settings. :)
The Studio is amazing, i really miss the Studio when the train pass!
I love the Note series. Before I would get the S series and was told "once you go Note, you don't go back" and it's true. Now There was a rumor saying the Note series is dead, then Samsung came out and said they would release a note in 2021, and now rumors are saying no note again. So we'll see
Definitely getting this phone and i think its safe to say its the best looking phone as of right now and perhaps the best looking galaxy in very long time.

The screen on Samsung phones is often set to vivid instead of normal colors. But can be easily changed in the settings. Than it should look more like the photos you've seen on the monitor.
They did improve on that camera bump though. Wished they kept the sd card slot for all of my pics, videos, music, etc
I'm so mad about that and i just bought a 1tb micro sd card on black Friday for my S10 Plus. Such bullshit

One of the things samsung can never get right with it's cameras is skin tones. It makes everyones skin way lighter than what they really are. I love the way the pixel phones handle skin tones.

For your next day in the life I have a suggestion. Do studio audio recording for the whole video. Shoot it first and then show the videos of you using it and videos you took off it. I think somewhere these videos are getting lost in translation. Also would have loved a battery check meter in the bottom of the video for the entire length of the video. People are suckers for data. So the more you give the less it is.
It's ridiculous how many new phones they release each year. My new s20 plus isn't even 6 months old they already have the next model out its crazy.

How are you? Other than having a good camera and being fast, is there any difference between s10+ and s21 ultra????
Upgrading from an s10+ is just a flex. If you are a casual phone user, it's likely not worth the upgrade. But if you are nerdy and pushing that s10+ to its limit with gaming or something, then the s21 ultra is a viable upgrade if you want to lose a headphone jack and an microSD card slot for s-pen functionality, better camera zoom and 8k video recording.
The s21 ultra is really just a refined s20 ultra. So if last year you had your eyes on the 20, skip it for the 21.
I preordered the Ultra in black and ordered the buds, a case and s pen with it since I got them for free. Traded in my S20, so it was a really inexpensive upgrade.

I don't see the big deal about the camera besides the zoom. My 8t takes great pictures in decent lighting and holds it's own in the dark. I know it gets heat, but don't bother me. Also my battery life is ridiculously good. I've hit 10 SOT and over 16 hours, with a smaller battery than this model. The fact I paid 350 for it, it was a no brainier. Only interested in this phone for my wife, but it really seems a step backwards. No SD, no charging brick...those pictures didn't blow me away. Also the fact paying quite a bit for extra ram or storage.....she's gonna keep her OnePlus 8 for longer, lol!

I think the reason your getting different colors on the phone is because its set on vivid mode in settings if you change it to natural it'll be fine. Vivid mode just over exaggerate the colors

I’m pretty sure Instagram lowers the resolution for pictures for some reason.
The screen by default is set to Vivid which makes everything look not so color accurate and more saturated. I switch myself to natural and that solves it.

No, unless your looking for a better camera, if not your good don’t upgrade
People need to keep in mind you can make manual adjustments to shutter speed, F-Stop, White balance and ISO. You can adjust stuff for skin tone reasons
This guys bias really shows through. The first thing MKBHD did was optimize the display to his liking, and then talked about natural v bright selfies before showing his selfies. UAG started with the selfies, complained, and then talked about the fix. Also, they heavily improved the lag time when taking pictures, and it was only more noticeable because of the 100x zoom be was on. Also, he barely talked about the display and fps, while thats definitely one of the strongest parts of the phone
I was glad to see the skin tones came out better on a computer or after they are exported.

Well there's a display setting for natural colors or vivid colors too, maybe you need to tweek that for your liking.

Absolutely brilliant that the phone has 100x space optical zoom but one thing I did notice is when recording outside your loyal trusted cameraman needs to install a outdoor microphone windshield to reduce wind noise
