i agree, in my opinion adding the white only on the front wing and rear wing would look sick tbh, just a splash of white. maybe make it look like the 2019 renault with their yellow color on the front and rear wing

I agree with the white on the front & rear wings. Those look dope, as you said yourself. But the white on the car looks like it's too much. I would have prefered a bit more of the original colors with more of an accent with the white.
I am a sucker for Williams' current colorpalette. They buy me with anything they'd do with the livery. Absolute banger. Not flashy, its just beautiful, tasteful and harmonic.
It’s so good to see more sponsors on their car, it’s unintuitive but the cars do look better when they’re crammed with logos
Especially with these complicated physical forms. Fewer sponsors, but massive, worked on the early 90s cars.
Nah, when they are crammed with sponsors it looks bad.
There is a fine line to be walked between to less and to much.
Both looking empty and looking crowded arent generally a good thing, but at least the former could have (but wasn't) be offset by certain design choices
Banger redesigns like this are what tides me over the preseason. Keep it up Tommo!

Nice. It's a definite improvement over the original. More eyecatching. Part of me wants to see some yellow in there.

Yeah the white definitely needed on this one. I really like the clear seperation and the car needed to pop and stand out and I think the white accomplishes that! Nice redesign, I think its better than the original for sure.
Tommo your rendition of the Williams is savage man, I hope they pick up on this video and say to themselves, what were we thinking and then make your one .
Definitely prefer this version over the standard livery. Love the incorporation of white, lifts the overall apperance up massively. Definitely your best re-design this year so far.

This is pretty good. This is EXACTLY what I hoped for when I saw that the Williams app had gotten a redesign. But the livery didn't go classic enough in my opinion. This design, brilliant. Very cool.

Love it, the white and the angular lines just make it pop like no other in the grid.
did notice that all komatsu logos on the real livery has that light blue background it is a key colour of the brand

My favorite of the redesigns so far and better than any of the liveries unveiled so far. For both this and the HAAS I had the same reaction as when a wrestler walks out in white attire, it's a cheat code, it just looks so crisp and pristine, like an F1 car should look.

In previous years ive often preferred the original liveries but have to say Tommo you've been knocking these out of the park this season

I really like the real life livery and it's my favorite so far.
But I still respect your opinion and your redesign!
I like it. It's for sure an incremental evolution of the last couple of designs, but it's less busy, (less patterns within patterns etc), more clean lines and solid colours, which I like. I feel like they are trying to find that new 'standard identity' and it's looking pretty nice. Agree on the red. GOLD Williams! GOLD!! That's your third colour, or at the very least the bronze in the Duracel to accent some of the lines. I do like your design better, but give me some thin gold separator lines between white and blue?
Pink always looks great on a helmet. Liam Lawson's helmet last season was one of my favourites.

Thats a really interesting take on the Red in the pinstripes.
Im a williams fan, but im not british, but for me i was quite obvious that the red in the pinstripes is there to have the national colours Blue-Red-White on the car.
But i do agree this livery is born to be placed into the "Eh" category :D
I like your livery, im just not a big fan of the white all the way extending to the back, i would like it more if it would stop somewhere around the cockpit and then bangs in on the rear wing again.
As you said, the Wings are both absolutely BALLER. Like it.

Tommo this livery slaps, and yeah I wish they’d stuck with the lighter blue from last year too, maybe not on the livery but as part of the branding and on the team wear as last year’s shirt was so nice

Personally I would have liked to see a gradient from a gulf blue front view, to the darker Williams blue on the side/rear. And it would be neat to see it done with the blocky lines from last year. And plenty of gulf orange to accent it of course!
Your new livery definitely a grower solid improvement :D Although... Some Komatsu yellow wouldn't hurt it, go full retro homage :D
Your best redesign so far
I do like that Williams change it up a fair bit while still being recognisably similar. And that Duracell placement is top of the field in sponsor integration, sheer genius

That’s a banger
I think its bold, but I love it. Actually looks like a livery instead of blue coloured car. Maybe the sides aren't perfect, couldn't pinpoint why, but the front profile of the redesign bangs so hard
Had this one "theme"(am uncapable to draw) in my head for 1/2 months now.
Since they played scales because crystal/jewel/wathever, and everytime I preferred the "This could have been you!" HRT livery(that had a chequered flag pattern and used it nicely) to what they ran, they could use two snakes as a livery/racing identity motif:
- first is a rattlesnake called 'copperhead' because of their ties with Duracell, they could have a copper coloured nose, draw on it the snout of a snake and have a dissolving "scales" motif to pass from copper to blue. It's not faithful to the real snake but the words play along nicely, all in all when making Crash they decided almost from the start it would not have been faithful to its starting animal, and no one really complained about this;
- another serpent species is called Blue Racer and am personally convinced has been used as a base for the Dramon line in Digimon, it's azure/blue and slithers on a white belly. Keeping a scale motif we could get a way more mean verion of the first Rokit livery, it would also support the red nicely.

This slaps
The biggest shock of the Williams livery for me is the fact that they actually have sponsors now.
Also my prediction of a Gulf livery happening because of McLaren dropping the baby blue did not happen. It's just that all teams are dropping baby blue for some reason.
i wish they would’ve used the komatsu construction yellow. it would’ve added such a cool contrast to the blue sidepods
