      Like this:

      RB have announced the investigation....that makes it a big story just from that information. They could have kept it quiet if they wished, but then all sorts of snippets would have come out unofficially.

      Dutch media used "Grensoverschreidend gedrag" which translates to causing damage to someone physically, mentally or emotionally. It doesn't have to be sexual. It could be discrimination, bullying or agressive behaviour. We know basically nothing at this point. RB further announced it which is the parent company thus its big news and they hired a 3rd party which is even worse.

      @@DevilWolf000 He also had a wife and a family (on the way) who he dropped when he thought he saw something better (Geri), so you can’t deny he has form.
      That said, and whilst I’ve never liked anything about Horner, his politics, his questionable objectivity and endless brown nosing (although he clearly knows which side his bread is buttered), I don’t get the impression this is a sexual harassment allegation, more of a bullying one and although I can see him being controlling and even bullying to a point…I don’t actually think he’ll have done more than be an incredibly demanding boss and someone has decided to hit the nuke button knowing it could damage him, even if it wasn’t warranted. I think there will be a grain of truth to this but not enough to throw the book at him. Far worse employees are retained for far longer when in powerful positions. This will blow over.
      All that said, I don’t think it would be hard to replace him if it came to it - Horner has always been a mouthpiece for RB and done very well from it, but he’s not a leader of men by nature, he just happened to occupy the seat when endless money and talent from others was pooling in. I don’t see anything he does as remarkably special.

    sky sports F1 has no integrity. Most of these presenters should just join a tabloid. I cant bare anyone of these people but Martin Brundle keeps me hooked and watching the sky commentary. I wish he would just leave for a rival establishment.

      @@lalalittle3900 That's not true at all. That's just what some garbage sites jumped to assume. The definitive answer so far (supposedly directly from the person herself) is the employee made a HR claim that Christian was using "controlling behaviour" in the workplace.
      Which, you know, is a ridiculous claim in itself. He's the boss. The person in charge. He's meant to be in control of the employees for god sake. If not, then he wouldn't be doing his job.
      Honestly, from what it sounds, it seems like this employee was responsible for a situation, got told off, and couldn't handle being told off or disciplined like any normal adult person in a workplace would be able to understand.
      People will cry victim for anything these days just for the slightest monetary gains or personal attention.

    Initially in the investigation I think it's unfair the accused is named yet the accuser remains anonymous. If he's guilty then it's the end of his career and rightly so, but he deserves the same anonymity until proven guilty.

    "Inappropriate behaviour" carries only one connotation when it's a headline and NOT the one that he's actually been accused - that is that he's a mean boss that puts pressure on his staff.       @@eggie_D Am a lawyer. The law already has this one figured out. Allegations like this are within the public interest, as Christian is an influential and famous person. No libel or slander has occurred, what they have said is accurate. There is an investigation ongoing into allegations. The intention of the news outlet (malice or greed) is irrelevant, quite frankly.

    I don't know about the allegations and won't dare speculate on them, but I am curious as the timing of this, considering the source of the issue is the RB house, who stands to gain from this?     Horner faces allegations of 'incredibly controlling behaviour' by female colleague…..what a load of crap. Controlling is his job. It’s why his team got the results they have today. However, in this world you can not tell a “minority” what to do, especially not how to do their job, regardless of being their supervisor. So sad to see this getting any validity. Countersue her, hard! That’s the only solution to these problems.

      He wasn’t informed by FIA at that moment. He thought they were okay with budget. Toto had premature inside info from FIA that Horner didn’t have yet…. So Horners said the truth then. And he does so now too

    I don’t believe this.
    I’m not a fan of Red Bull, or Christian Horner but he’s been there years and I would have thought this would have come up long before now.

      The season has been over for months and is another month away from starting yet. Team principles are quiet this time of year every year except at livery launches and other major conferences, of which there haven’t been any for red bull. With your kind of bullshit speculation, you might end up on a sky panel soon.
