It's actually a great song and reminds me of my time as a high school student. Greetings from Chile 🇨🇱
My dad was a lorry driver and I remember sitting with him, my mum and sometimes also my sister in the lorry and driving across the country listening to the radio and admiring the countryside and cities that were unknown to us. He often had to leave in the evening and drive through the night to be at the place in the morning. I remember how much I liked those little journeys with him - we were looking from the top, seeing all those places soaked in the pale sunshine.. I'm sure I heard this song during one of those journeys, because everytime I listen to it an image pops in my head - an unfamiliar road, the sleepy countryside and the sunrise. My dad died 1yr and 4months ago, and since then this song is absolute gem to me. It reminds me of a time spent together with him doing what he loved the most. 🖤🚛

my son was born 2005 and every night feed this magical song came on the radio around 3 am and it was such a comfort to a struggling mum. When my son was 14 we saw keane together in Dublin. My 5th time my sons first time.

There's a certain depth in this song that not many songs achieve. The poignant lyrics juxtaposed with the stirring melody create an ambiance that's both haunting and uplifting. Keane has an uncanny ability to tap into emotions we didn't even know we were feeling.
Well said. I bought the CD somewhere in 2004 I think.
I could not play it often, exactly because of that notion. For me, it's spot on and they manage indeed to touch on very secret and almost hidden emotions deep inside.
My reaction is sadly enough: grief, sadness, crying. It also has something fairytale like. Not easy to explain. But nearly 20 years later I still feel it...

From time to time I come back to Keane videos, thinking "I'm over it", but every time it seems like it's the first time I'm hearing these formidable songs. Never get old.
Resonating ,timeless and so beautiful.
My favorite by Keane...talented band...awesome voice! Personally, this song reminds me of me and my husband of 28 years. My love for my husband will never die. I feel blessed he has shared his life with me. He makes me feel so loved and completely accepted. It goes by so fast. We have laughed, cried, fought and loved so hard...one cannot be without the other...wishing a soul mate for all!

Was lucky enough to see these Lads in LA supporting their 1st album. Brilliant. So much goodness coming out of a piano, drums & voice. Such nice guys at the meet-up after. My date wanted Tom Chapman to sign her leg...he was literally blushing...hysterical. I can never get enough of this song...everything about it, but especially the soaring chorus...is audio heaven.
What a joy to live in the Era of Keane , Coldplay and many other group :)
