So glad one of the hosts encouraged her to stay off of social media. Love that they highlighted the importance of cross training too.
Love that she is focused on having a flexible mindset. So glad that her parents are making sure she is still having fun and so glad her teammates are so supportive. Elizabeth seems to really appreciate it.

    She's an amazing runner.
I am really curious what her resting heart rate is.

Elizabeth, not sure if you ever read these comments, but for sure keep cross training and use eliptical / arc / bike / swimming to get zone 2 and maybe more for your training. It's for sure a proven method for running and speed skating and other endurance events. I know that you had hip and other leg issues. If you are not doing so already, check out the knees over toes guy / ATG approach for leg mobility / strength. It's a great approach for mobility (strength and flexibility) that is mostly body weight, but still challenging. You and Valby and others have it right in regards to high performance without injuries and other issues that come from excess running.
