I unlocked small dreadlocks using Knot on My Watch. Used almost an entire bottle, but managed to save about a foot of hair instead of needing to do a big chop to go back to combing my hair after 20+ years in locs. It doesn't give slip so much as just dissolving the tangles/knots. I had to use the tail of a rat tail comb to get inside each loc, then my fingers to slowly pull each strand away from the others. So slip wasn't what I needed so much as just loosening each knot. I know people who use it as a leavein conditioner or combing detangler will often say they don't think it has enough slip. I wouldn't try it with a comb. Was perfect for what I needed, thin enough to get inside each loc.
Thanks for sharing such good information. I mainly finger detangle with Kinky-Curly Knot Today. I do use my wide tooth comb to make sure all shed hairs and tangles from ends to root are out once a month.
I enjoyed your video. My texture is mixed, coily, straight, and it's tough to detangler but I've decided to detangle it before washing it from this point on. Thanks for you tips. I'll let you know.
I use Africa's Best Leave In Rinse Out Deep Conditioner. There's also a hair and body oil with the same name. It contains various oils, such as sweet almond oil. Its scent is reminisce of baby products.
hello, for carol daughter there is Methylisothiazolinone (is a widely-used preservative; has been associated with allergic reactions. Lab studies on the brain cells of mammals also suggest that methylisothiazolinone may be neurotoxic) is sure use it?
Thanks, great video. I have a variety of hair textures and I was looking for the right leave-in conditioner. Awesome. No silly music, thanks for getting to the POINT.👌💯
Hello ! U just gained a subscriber lol I love how knowledgeable u r with all things hair ! ~ so, I have a question, which one of these, if any, would u recommend for me ? I'm a Caucasian European mutt lol and I have a very full, very thick head of very long, coarse "candy curls". I have been destroying my hair lately, trying to rush in the shower and wash and condition my hair. But just to detangle my hair has proven to be EXTREMELY difficult. Every product I try either dries out my hair OR leaves my hair REALLY greasy and weighed down. I've bought several different detangling brushes. I have TONS of breakage now and also am suffering from post partum hair loss. Any suggestions u may have would be TREMENDOUSLY appreciated ❤ thank u so much !!! Have an amazing day and happy Easter !

I use this product. It has the best slip. I think it is great on soaking wet hair.

My favorite is pacifica coconut detangler
I've tried all of those and NOTHING works better in my 4c hair than, “The Great Detangler by Taliah Wajid."
That's a good one too

Sounds good. Thanks for sharing
Oyin handmade is more like moisturizer than a detangler in my opinion. They have a detangler called Oh my Glide that I'm considering to give it a try.

Been looking for a list. Thanks!
You can also add the Camille rose coconut water leave in to this wonderful list
Thanks for the suggestion
is there any moisturizing detangler that can be use as a leave-in conditioner every day?
Most if not all of these mentioned are leave in detanglers so can safely be used daily.
@@Blackhairinformation Oh thanks

Can I use your recommended products on type 1 hair? My hair is so tangled and matty.
Try " The Detangler " by Paul Mitchell. So good❤
Ive been natural for 10 years now and Oyin has always been a staple and they have not changed their ingredients even when carried by certain retailers
Absolutely Oyin is bomb.
Could you leave the link for that product here, please? I couldn't find it. Thanks
