Wow, but WOW! But doesn't look like it has enough roll cage to be going that fast! Obviously, I MUST be mistaken, but I thought they needed the full cage completely surrounding the driver? Did I just hear that it's a Drag Challenge car??? As in Street legal in Australia???? 6.65 at 214mph- that's just crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Drags cars are not made to handle st driving like drag challenge, to think all the aspects you need to change, like exhaust and tunes while driving at 100km/ 110km and 60km etc, the engines and running gear do not even get to temp, i know frank has a lot of experience, but to break valve springs, just think of the heat and power required to break the springs, when the engine combo is almost bullt proof, still well done to all the boys and the gang from dandy engines?
Amazingly fast, but can I ask about that cage, It does not look anything like a cage certified to run in a 6 second car, are the rules more lax in Australia as i suspect you would not be allowed to run that car in the USA or the UK?
maybe tom bailey can get nhra to ok his idea for a removable halo for street driven cars and yall bring that bad ass car to the us for some sick week action! ya prob should been on a boat headed here last month to make it tho haha but fast as that thing is lol. cleetus's car wouldn't classify street legal in Australia though, its 1000 pound lighter and has the roll cage built into the frame rails. but past that point, yes they would.
Wouldn't be legal in WA. Can't drive cars like that on the street unless it is registered as a Club Car and is only allowed out on Club runs. But it is a very nice looking car and I love the grunt it has. A well put together car and kudos to the crew.

@@GlennLittleford l have skinnies on my 2011 Camaro SS that's street driven on nice weekends and does see the eighth and quarter mile track a few times a year l think they look pretty cool
Newer muscle cars don't come with skinnies on the front but do come with staggered front and back wheels as a option and usually do so because they look better or have a more aggressive stance with wider back wheels and slightly taller and wider back tires than the front does
HQ Monaro... when I was a kid I thought they looked like space ships when they were released . Beautiful body lines , they still look modern today.
