This is one of the most precious teachings I Love, the Soverignty of God!!! It makes me tremble and stand in awe of Him!!! There is nothing sweeter than this! I believe that the soverignty of God is precious to every Child of God😁😄😅😃
It is an awesome sermon, when someone preaches the exact truth of the Word of God it is awesome. Jesus is the Everlasting Father as Isaiah said in ch 9:6 And worthy of all praise, honor, and glory
I praise God that he has trampled and overcome my will which is always sinful and in rebellion against God. If left to myself to choose, I would not choose God. Praise God that he accomplishes his will to save the elect. All men are responsible for their sins. Now the mystery of the grace of God --- He saves his elect to the uttermost so that his sins are all washed away in Jesus Christ. Now the elect will not and cannot reject his Savior. But he's being lead to believe and trust on the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Thank you for the exhortation to pray for the impossible. Yes God has ordained everything, and He has also ordained the opportunities to respond in faith and say no to bad situations and believe in miracles ("little child, I say to you, arise!")
Keep seeking Jesus friends.. He IS the only way to the Father! Its good to consider where we’re going when we die and the afterlife. It’s only in Him! Get a Bible and start reading in the book of John! The Bible is a love letter from our Maker to us.
I love love love the wonderful absolute sovereignty of God. However there are scripture deniers that are so obsessed with calvin they cannot even see the truth of God's sovereignty. They constantly label label and just write you off
The last days church in Revelation is growing strong. Many deceived by false doctrine of demons. The doctrine is so close to the truth, with “some” truth, but twisted scriptures with lies for those with etching ears to have their minds and hearts convinced they have free will and can live a life of willful sin and think they are still going to heaven because they believe the hyper grace movement. Very sad. Many are going to be shocked when Jesus comes and they didn’t make it.
Two verses that destroy socalled reformed theology!! The latter maintains God has decided everyones fate before the creation of the world and man cannot in anyway cooperate with or change God's Will _(even though we pray for it in the Lord's Prayer)_
The Judgment Seat of Christ and the Great White Throne Judgment would be farces if "free will to choose" was not true. Think on these things:. how could souls be judged and held responsible if they were predestined without free will? Is that just?.
2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would have saved them. 11For this reason God will send them a powerful delusion so that they believe the lie, 12in order that judgment may come upon all who have disbelieved the truth and delighted in wickedness.
It is hidden by God and God has to reveal it to know God. So of course they don't want God. “At that time Jesus declared, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have 👉hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will. All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and 👉no one knows the Son except the Father, and 👉no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son 👉chooses to reveal him.” Matthew 11:25-27
@@shopson6991 Romans the Calvinist favorite book. 18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Did he not hear and see everything Able saw and heard? In fact Almighty God talk to Cain audibly and gave him instructions in the right path. But Cain made the choice to refuse God’s instruction. To me it’s rather simple….God is fully sovereign but when he made man, He (God) chose to limit His sovereignty when He gave man the first spoken and written promises to distinguish Himself from all other god’s who man create who are “capricious”. Therefore God sovereignly created man with freewill to choose in receiving or rejecting His promises because it declares that “whatsoever a man soweth he shall also reap” good or bad. In this God does not violate His main attribute of Love over a fallen creation who is given the opportunity to redeem themselves to their creator.
Psalm 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified THY WORD ABOVE THY NAME. 2 Corinthians 1:20 For ALL THE PROMISES of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. Romans 10:13,14 For WHOSOEVER shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 ¶ HOW THEN shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and HOW SHALL they believe in him of whom they have not heard?
"Sovereignty" and "will" need to be properly defined and understood. Sovereignty is "Supreme power and autonomy". That does NOT mean that it is always exercised or used down to the minutest detail, even though it could be. Will is "something that is desired or ordained". God is not willing that any should perish
The any there is the believers. Context. “The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward👉 you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 Context is believers and God is not willing that any of them will perish. That's why none of them will.
I don’t know if I believe God preDESTINED who was going to be saved. But he did pre-know who was going to accept salvation. He pre-knew who was going to choose to believer or not. I think this completely works with Gods sovereignty. Maybe this is what he’s saying, but he should be more clear about the difference between the predetermination and predestination.
It sounds like Pastor John is teaching God CHOSE whether he will save someone or not before they were born. It sounds like he’s saying it’s God’s will to unsave certain people. It’s not Gods will that ANY shall perish but all come to repentance. So I respectfully disagree that is was “Gods will for someone to (hypothetically) shoot you in the eyes.” 31:15
The Bible teaches God is in charge of everything. We are all sinners and headed for hell. God giving mercy to some and justice to others is His to do. He created everything and has complete dominion over His creation.
God created Lucifer and while He created him, he knew Lucifer was going to rebell against him. But he created him anyways, because it was predetermined that he would be the adversary that tries all of us. He created the tree knowing even before he formed Adam and Eve that they were going to eat of the tree in disobedience. Why? Because it was predetermined before the foundation of the world. People have been preached to much soft doctrine of God. It’s time for the true followers of Christ to know the truth. God is in control.
this is a false teaching. how then can you reconcile that Jesus desired for Judas to sit on the 12 thrones with the other disciples, in glory and judgement over Israel? how do you reconcile this sermon with the fact that God wanted all to repent and be saved? the answer is that you don't. people use these false teachings about God's sovereignty and predestination to relinquish the responsibility God has given us to increase our knowledge of Him, to know his purpose, to execute his purpose, multiply, have dominion and subdue the adversaries which stand in the path of God's assignment to each individual. God rebuke you!
Please address the problem of human evil and natural suffering. This is VERY problematic. Thousands of babies starving daily or all the herbivores being savagely eaten. This would make god a moral monster.
God planned before he created the world to exalt his attributes and characteristics through world events in order to extend his love to human beings of his choice who he gave to Jesus for their sins to be punished in him and forgiven so that they could know him and enjoy him forever in the most humble, appreciative, and satisfied state possible. This required that God not simply create the world and prevent all evil and its painful effects and keep us and everything in perfect conditions that would prevent us from fully knowing and appreciating him because nothing ever progressed, but instead he planned and through secondary causes brings about sin and suffering so that when he saves people from it and establishes a perfect world for his people after the judgment of evil, we will not be entitled or babe-like in our knowledge and experience of God but we will thank and love him more as our hero than we would have if we never needed rescue. Human evil and suffering are not theological problems for God because he planned and governs it all and will both judge the unrepentant wicked ones and redeem everyone he intends through Jesus at his appointed time, so nothing is wasted, unchecked, or purposeless, but the only hope of profiting at the end of this story is humble penitence and faith in Jesus.
John, all creation obeys the sovereign BUT MAN is free to disobey and disregard the Sovereign. SEE THE TAIL OF JONAH. ARE YOU BLIND AND DEAF JOHN? Therefore, the psalmist cries, WHAT IS MAN THAT THOU ART MINDFUL OF HIM?
Gods will came to pass with Jonah. Jonah rebelled against God, but in the end, Gods purpose through Jonah was fulfilled. Jonah was on a boat going the opposite direction. But God brought the storm and caused Jonah to be thrown overboard and swallowed by the whale. That’s the same with us in life. We try to go our own way sometimes, but Gods will and purpose will come forth in our lives. Even if he has to cause situations in our lives to get us back to him in obedience. Think bigger!
Stop believing in the hyper grace movement and that your free will trumps Gods will. This is the great deception that is leading multitudes to hell. The last days church.
