Great video, thanks! I just got back from Burning Man. We had 20 people in our camp and will grow to 30 next year. Everyone brings their own tent (most are ShiftPod or for me a bell shaped round ice fishing tent where I added a tarp for the ground). We need a large shade structure overhead, minimum 30 by 30 feet. It has to be lashed down with lag bolts and straps. It has to be at least 8 to 10 feet tall. Winds can get to 40 MPH and temperatures above 100 F and there's a possibility of rain. It needs to break down into pieces we can haul on a 15 foot flat bed truck, with everything else. What do you recommend? -Frank
I love your content! I live in Jamaica and would like to start a glamping business here. Which type of tent would you recommend? The climate is definitely hot. I am open to any advise you may have.
Unfortunately no. We got hit with a massive flood that stopped us from expanding in our land. I’m fairly confident it will have no resell value besides the utilities I put in mainly.
somehwere around 7:20 you mention a "liner", what do you mean by that? Also, do you think its possible to use powerwashing tools on the dome? Or will it damage the fabric?
Most domes have an option for an insulated liner. It's the size of the dome and attached on the inside. Think of the nicest insulated blanket ever for your dome. VERY heavy and helps the temps inside.
How do you decide what size Geodome to get? What platform should I use to look at competitors and determine the more reasonable nightly rate? Airdna? Do you use a third-party management company or manage your sites yourself? Great content, thanks!
I went smaller for my first one so I could save some money and not make big mistakes. I definitely recommend going under 7-8m domes for your first one but it's all up to you. I used airbnb alot and airdna some. Airbnb has way better data for something specific like a dome to me. I manage everything myself! It's alot but once you have some systems in place it becomes way easier and more rewarding. Thank you for the support!
@@echeroll I actually changed my profiles on both recently to instagram.com/garrettbrownre I started working at BiggerPockets recently so my socials will be active but not this channel anymore unfortunately for now!
Sorry for what happened to your place hope you will be able to manage it and it was nice to hear the list 😂but i still like upgrading the geodome amd i still believe and agree that outdoor area is very important Still there is more to see but if its a 100 % investing will have better options Is there any email or a phone number to text or drop you an email for something intersting for glamping domes Thanks and wish you the best
