Great video, thanks! I just got back from Burning Man. We had 20 people in our camp and will grow to 30 next year. Everyone brings their own tent (most are ShiftPod or for me a bell shaped round ice fishing tent where I added a tarp for the ground). We need a large shade structure overhead, minimum 30 by 30 feet. It has to be lashed down with lag bolts and straps. It has to be at least 8 to 10 feet tall. Winds can get to 40 MPH and temperatures above 100 F and there's a possibility of rain. It needs to break down into pieces we can haul on a 15 foot flat bed truck, with everything else. What do you recommend? -Frank

I really appreciated this as we are currently looking into a geo dome for FT living. We're opting for insulated panels for the interior that we can spray foam in between. Without getting to personal, I'd love to know how you went about financing? (if you did) We're also planning on installing Prana recuperators from air flow. Would you say that the dome strength is as stable as said to be? (winds) TYIA!

Thank you for not sugar coating this! I am going to start a geodome glamping site as well. I am expecting to pay $112,000 ; however, my best friend and I built our own house 2021-2023 and our motto is "Lessons were learned." This time we'll hire Electric and HVAC but he's a carpenter and figured out plumbing and complex electrical. He's been a general contractor on whole house builds so I can pay low prices. I've been a realtor and a notary and Sgt for Sheriff's office and Board Chair of a non profit that helps with housing issues. We will do our own permits, building etc. I will hire out sewer and water connections as well. I'm looking at buying or leasing land for this. I have a friend with Water front property and full hook ups but the land is 1 hr drive away. I can buy land that is closer and has higher occupancy rates on Airbnb. Thank you!!!

You mentioned (in another video of yours) that you realized that your original lot size was too small reason why you went for 5 acres? or maybe 10? Can't honestly recall. So, the questions is, do you think Gampling is not suitable for lot size smaller than 5 acres? We have a 1.25 lot and are we are day dreaming about building one site for our personal use and rent to friends and family, then expand if that works well. What are your thoughts on smaller lots?

Would you consider using a pool liner? They could be replaced annually, if necessary to avoid slime, but you're probably using Chlorine anyway. Great idea about the sand filter. I heard they can also be insulated.
