Put a blazer on, choose your warm cashmere turtleneck in the evening and spray a little bit of Tom's Oud Wood is there anything better than that ? Oud Wood feels comforting, wearing it makes me feel protected, confident, special. It’s not my go-to kind of fragrance that I wear every day also because the price is high but if you love it it’s absolutely worth it. Great review, thank you.
@@calebfriend8174 I hate to admit it man. I tried it on at macy's and just sprayed 2 sprays on my jacket outside and 2 more on the inside. It's actually been more than 1 month and I can smell about 14%. As in you can clearly smell it on my the jacket without having to pull the jack to nose exactly touching the skin. Just standing a foot a way, from the jacket you can smell it.

I was making fun of the price saying they want a 150 for this shit!! then the next morning is when the scent really came to life. So I'd say, spray on your clothes over night and let it soak in. the next morning referesh and get a few dabs on your neck, body, and wrist. It'll smell very refreshing. It stayed on my skin even after 2 showers and my truck reeked of it a good week after. I'm going to buy it cause i'm cheap, and yea, it's expensive to start but say you want to smell professional and mature. Throw on a custom tailered suit jacket and slacks ( any brand), clean up, and spray that on.

Love Oud Wood and recently bought a bottle cos I had to after so many decants and samples. That said, there's no way it projects for 6 hours. It lasts for 12 on my skin but barely projects at all. And I don't mind that cos it's a nose burying scent that women love to cuddle into.
It is truly an incredible scent. It’s so hard to describe it, because it’s so complex and deep. I’m on my third 100ml bottle now, but I really think the price is justified.
Tom Ford oud wood is the king of Kings, quite a stunning masculine fragrance. it's not overly woody just a gorgeous fragrance. Chris have you tried Tom Ford Amber Absolute? i got a clone version today and I was blown away absolutely gorgeous

Since I've started wearing niche fragrances it's hard to wear designer now. If you like TF oud wood you should try tobacco oud or tobacco vanille. Pure heaven.

I have only smelled noir extreme so far from tom ford and honestly, i don't know if it's my amateur nose but i find it average. Nothing special. I have ordered a decant of oud wood. Really excited after hearing such great reviews!
Youll enjoy it...its definitely pricey but such a class fragrance just exhudes elegance the quality speaks for itself i especially love it after about an hour or so when ir settles in. It is expensive so i initially ordered a 10ml decant...loves it soo much that i orderes another 3 10 ml decants for around 10 quid eaxh that way im getting 30 ml for 30 quid which if you buy an actual 30ml bottle or 50 ml bottle its way too much for me but who cares about not having the bottle its all about the juice inside for me

Personally ive been working from home so i havent had the opportunity to really "test" it. Hope you enjoy it though, classic for me

I don't know how I bumped here on your channel; I don't know maybe cause I was looking for Salvatore Ferragamo's Signature blend reviews - instead RUclips recommended this to me. This is an amazing perfume as you know yourself that one could ever have. Of course, I had to re-order this as the first bottle that I bought in May 2018 was nearly finished, so bought the second bottle in 2020 Jan. I kept this perfume only for the special occasions, and this is something you are always tempted to wear every day. Still, you cannot cause it's not simply cheap enough to buy now and then :D. I bought it first at Gatwick's duty-free, and I was blown away the moment I tried this on. Hadn't an absolute whiff of what I was buying, but I knew this is the perfume I had been looking for.
So had been on the fence with oud wood. Couldn't justify the price and was about to buy a sample then a flash sale popped up and here was opportunity. Just got it in 11/21/23. It smells excellent, deep and rich. My issue with it is that it s a linear fragrance. Now I'm only on hour 2 so maybe it will change, if it doesn't I might be disappointed. It does smell wonderful but I absolutely love fragrances that have a transition. Have got into the niche houses as my fragrance journey continues and as it stands right now tom ford is no longer on my radar. I do have a sample of tobacco vanilla. Maybe my initial feeling of the brand will change, we'll see.

I kept smelling my wrist where I sprayed it all day long. Ultimately, I bought it and it still one of my signature scent that I wear it to special occasions from time to time.
This video came to me just in time! My 3.4 oz bottle is on its way, but I was having second thoughts. I read some reviews, I think on Amazon, stating that it has a very short lifespan. A very short lived high, for the price tag. This video put my doubts to rest. I can't wait to receive it tomorrow or the next day!

I’m starting to collect some fragrances and I was intrigued on oud perfumes so I purchased TF Oud Wood. All I can say is that it is a legit “rugby” perfume for me - does not smell too nice as a “perfume” but it is addicting to sniff. It smells like a varnish to me.
I think this is going to be my next purchase. I picked up Tobacco Vanile in Leeds Harvey Nichols last sat and they gave me an Oud Wood sample. Smells amazing.

Hello there again. First of I would start with, I do really like your reviews and I think they are great. Now for the TF OW I think it is one of the best smelling scents ever and especially for me. Though, I am not sure why I don't feel the projection and longevity at all, most of the times especially after the first 2-3 hours. I also hear this from many other people. However, some other people like yourself they say it projects and lasts forever. Does this cause nose fatigue and that is why myself and some other people think it does not last? Your thoughts, thanks

I had a very similar experience to you with this scent. I used to just wear paco-rabanne 1 million or jpg le male. The first time I smelt tf oud wood I though wow! It really kicked off my fragance journey!

Ok so I was walking through the parfume section and I also happend to come across tom ford oud wood. When I smelt it the smell was absolutely terrible. This is my own opinion tho. So now I've orderd my self an oud wood just to give it a second chance. But I doubt i will like it. Didn't smell nothing like oud at all. It just smelled EXTREMELY strong and chemically . Maybe it could be I have asthma so I react differently.

I have been sampling our wood and now I have purchased a 100ml the 100ml smells more like coconut than the sample did, it’s only after I smelled the 100ml I even got any coconut accord, but now I go back to the sample it does have it there just toned down, I’m thinking they have changed it to make the projection a little better but I actually hate the coconut vibe and I loved the sample
Many reviewers praise TF's OUD WOOD, so I keep trying samples but it does not stick on my skin?.... Just got a sample again a few days ago, and I was immediately reminded, for a few minutes, of one of the BEST AOUD in my collection BOIS DE AOUD or Khashab Al-OUD by "Abdul Samad al Qurashi", a fragrance highly recommended by Akhil/ the perfume guru. A fantastic aoud in the same line as OUD WOOD, but much more potent. It even has pieces of oud wood inside. I would strongly suggest you try it. For true AOUD lovers only. An aoud that can even be used on summer nights. Very sexy. The bottle is also fabulous....
Out of tobacco Oud, oudwood and tobacco vanilla, which one is mass appealer ??? For getting compliments from ladies wen worn by men ? Best performance?
Most mass appealing I would say Oud Wood for the daytime (or warmer days) and Tobacco Vanille for colder/evening. Both will get you compliments, Tobacco Vanille probably more. Performace - Tobacco Vanille is the king, unrivaled by almost any fragrance existing.
Franoir sorry to hear that such a gorgeous sent doesn't last very long for you. Sometimes the wearer can lose the scent but those around you still get it. You could always top up from a travel atomiser 👍
This stuff lasts forever on my skin. It seems to cause olfactory fatigue , but trust me it’s there. It’s not a projection monster but when you have a scent as classy as this you don’t want it to

This video came to me just in time! My 3.4 oz bottle is on its way, but I was having second thoughts. I read some reviews, I think on Amazon, stating that it has a very short lifespan. A very short lived high, for the price tag. This video put my doubts to rest. I can't wait to receive it tomorrow or the next day!

I’m starting to collect some fragrances and I was intrigued on oud perfumes so I purchased TF Oud Wood. All I can say is that it is a legit “rugby” perfume for me - does not smell too nice as a “perfume” but it is addicting to sniff. It smells like a varnish to me.

I think this is going to be my next purchase. I picked up Tobacco Vanile in Leeds Harvey Nichols last sat and they gave me an Oud Wood sample. Smells amazing.
For anyone who like me who wouldnt pay 90 quid for like.30ml buy a decant from ebay can get it on.there for like £10 for 10ml. I ordered a decant just out of curiosity infact chris i think it was the video you shot with your sister where she really liked it alot, that sparked my interest cos i dont like heavy rich thick oud smells so with your vid and your sister also giving it a positive reaction i thought i should see what all.the fuss is about...orderd a 10ml...ive now ordered 3 more decants its a magnificent fragrance definitely fits in with dressed up n formal occasions, though ive found my self randomly spritzing a bit on.my wrist just for my own enjoyment. One of.my absoloute faves
.Oud wood is a masterpiece fragrance for me ,I really have long duration with it and the smell stays on the clothes for days .If only it had longer projection.

Awww I remember one boyfriend always had the best in cologne taste and after a night of cuddling close smelling his cologne after saying goodnight on my sweater. Yes , it’s a thing. 😂 Sweet memories. Hi, @@briantaylor6030 ! The longevity on my skin is around 4 hours. Projection is not so good, unfortunately. But it smells heavenly which more than makes up for the poor projection. I am just loving it!

Hello there again. First of I would start with, I do really like your reviews and I think they are great. Now for the TF OW I think it is one of the best smelling scents ever and especially for me. Though, I am not sure why I don't feel the projection and longevity at all, most of the times especially after the first 2-3 hours. I also hear this from many other people. However, some other people like yourself they say it projects and lasts forever. Does this cause nose fatigue and that is why myself and some other people think it does not last? Your thoughts, thanks
I'm not sure about fatigue but it's not super strong. I get more than acceptable performance from it though.

I had a very similar experience to you with this scent. I used to just wear paco-rabanne 1 million or jpg le male. The first time I smelt tf oud wood I though wow! It really kicked off my fragance journey!

Ok so I was walking through the parfume section and I also happend to come across tom ford oud wood. When I smelt it the smell was absolutely terrible. This is my own opinion tho. So now I've orderd my self an oud wood just to give it a second chance. But I doubt i will like it. Didn't smell nothing like oud at all. It just smelled EXTREMELY strong and chemically . Maybe it could be I have asthma so I react differently.

Please someone answer, is there different batches of our wood ? I have been sampling our wood and now I have purchased a 100ml the 100ml smells more like coconut than the sample did, it’s only after I smelled the 100ml I even got any coconut accord, but now I go back to the sample it does have it there just toned down, I’m thinking they have changed it to make the projection a little better but I actually hate the coconut vibe and I loved the sample

Many reviewers praise TF's OUD WOOD, so I keep trying samples but it does not stick on my skin?.... Just got a sample again a few days ago, and I was immediately reminded, for a few minutes, of one of the BEST AOUD in my collection BOIS DE AOUD or Khashab Al-OUD by "Abdul Samad al Qurashi", a fragrance highly recommended by Akhil/ the perfume guru. A fantastic aoud in the same line as OUD WOOD, but much more potent. It even has pieces of oud wood inside. I would strongly suggest you try it. For true AOUD lovers only. An aoud that can even be used on summer nights. Very sexy. The bottle is also fabulous....

Most mass appealing I would say Oud Wood for the daytime (or warmer days) and Tobacco Vanille for colder/evening. Both will get you compliments, Tobacco Vanille probably more. Performace - Tobacco Vanille is the king, unrivaled by almost any fragrance existing.
It's close between Tobacco Vanille and Oud Wood but I'd say Oud Wood is a little more masculine.
And out of black orchid, noir extreme and ombré leather which one is best for men ? Smell ? Projection? Compliment getter ? Longevity

Franoir sorry to hear that such a gorgeous sent doesn't last very long for you. Sometimes the wearer can lose the scent but those around you still get it. You could always top up from a travel atomiser 👍

This stuff lasts forever on my skin. It seems to cause olfactory fatigue , but trust me it’s there. It’s not a projection monster but when you have a scent as classy as this you don’t want it to
