    Nice video showing the float tube and the attachments. The most important equipment is the floating apparatus. You might not ever need it but if you ever did you will be more than happy your wearing one.

    Great video as always. Haven’t been doing much jigging this season because my kids have been getting into fishing alot more but they don’t have the patience to throw minis or minnows just yet so I been a little preoccupied trying to teach them the basics like bait and wait . There still very young But eventfully I’ll start incorporating more techniques.

      I definitely know how that goes haha. Maybe get them onto dropshot or I used to hook fish on jigs and let my girls reel them in

    U make really good videos, the detailed descriptions of fishing gear and how to fish it is really easy to follow along and put into practical application. Really appreciate it, i was wondering if u could make a video on how to setup that automatic fishing rod that sets the hook when the fish pullls the trigger. I actually ordered 2 of those rod holders but it looks confusing to set the line up on the trigger. Just thought it would be a cool helpful video for us amature trout fisherman. Thanks Rob

      @SeaSpankerOutdoors  11 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you 🙏. Its really not something I can do a video on but it works similar to a mouse trap. If you stick it in the ground and push down on the rod holer itself so it folds over it should catch in the mechanism and lock. Then after you cast out you pull a loop of line from the line thats in between the reel and the first guide on your rod. Then just hook that loop of line on the bottom portion of that red trigger and your all set 🤘

      @seanhartnett6923 11 месяцев назад

      @SeaSpankerOutdoors thanks. Ya it doesn't actually seem all that complicated to rig up. Looking forward to giving them a try, my girlfriend gets nervous trying to set the hook when she's getting nibbles which means there's usually no fish there when she tries to set the hook. I prefer to actively fish with drop shot or mini jigs. But I feel these rod holders will be a game changer so my girlfriend can just reel in the fish and not mess with setting the hook. Thanks for your reply

    what do you mean by "quarter hookset"?

    • @SeaSpankerOutdoors
      @SeaSpankerOutdoors  11 месяцев назад

      Basically just raising the rod tip to see if you feel anything. If you do then complete the hook set.

    You should really look at the Dave scadden floats. Besides being super light there really low profile. Wind doesn't effect them like your float tube. Been in 20to30mph winds. Felt really y safe and I'm a bigger guy to 240lbs. There pricey but well worth it. And no I don't work for company.

    • @SeaSpankerOutdoors
