You guys missed one inexpensive option, auxillary lights on r.o.p.s.. I can't be the only one that works after dark or try unloading your pickup at night, the bucket or forks are always blocking hood mounted headlights. Can't wait for next video. Looks like a nicely designed tractor. Good luck on your new venture
I am seriously impressed! The included features are amazing on this tractor. It's clear that this was designed from the ground up with the operator in mind. Brands like this deserve every ounce of success that comes their way. Well done!
I have always said that competition makes everyone better. The key to this and all the new brands that have come out in the last 2 to 5 years will be a reliable dealer network and parts availability. Like others, I too wonder about their name and any relationship to Summit hydraulics.
For me, needed features and price were the main items when I bought my Kioti. You guys beat the features on my CK for sure. Looks like a lot of thought went into this new tractor. I do all my own repairs, so dealer proximity was not a concern. But it probably would be for most and for sure parts. If pricing is competitive you'll have a winner. Good luck. Really like the color.
Our T25's have more standard features and split breaks that this doesn't have. I looked real closely at this tractor but it really can't compare to the TYM T25.
Looked and researched small tractors for a long time, you just cannot beat the options standard on this tractor along with quality. They thought of almost everything. I bit the dirt and bought mine today at Atwood's. Pick it up tomorrow.
As many/most have said, dealer network and parts availability are the current shop stopper. I like most everything I saw and would pay above RK pricing. The biggest negative for me is the one brake as opposed to split brakes. I too am a skilled wrench, but no desire to do major repairs, back to the service question!
Competition is good. And there can be a great advantage to being late to the ball . . . you have the opportunity to see the best and the worst of what is already on the market and strive to take the best and improve upon it. And, Summit, it looks like Summit you've done a great job utilizing that strategy! Very exciting to see such a great, new compact tractor with so many great, standard features! Way to go. Excited to see more about the TX25 and your future models.
On the surface, the Summit looks like a great machine. Everything I have done to my tractor post purchase is included with this machine. I look forward to learning more about it and seeing if it is more than lipstick and mascara.
I love to see the competition. Looking forward to checking you all at Summit out. I bought a 2021 Deere 125r in Jan. I think I have spent around $7000 just to get it to be able to work around my house. It’s been a disappointment from upgrading it standpoint. Hopefully you guys at Summit get it right. We want Tractors that work, don’t over heat hydraulics, and can lift a lot of weight if needed. I liked the video. I’ll be checking y’all out.
Very timely video. Bought a 16 acre farm 3 years ago, and a tractor is one of our next purchases. Will definitely look this one over and see if it has all we're looking for.
Wow that was certainly an introduction of what may become a major player of subcompact tractors. You can bet your sticks n stones Orange n Green will be scratching their heads now. Looking forward to seeing more of this.
Im hoping there's a part two! Differential housing cast steel or aluminum? Frame dimensions (thickness), diff lock...is it pin style or something new? Parts and their availability?
Wow this price is awesome retired early from LE and mil and looking at subcompact for my acre plus and didn’t like the prices mainly looking at 1025/2025r or B24 or 26 models. This has caught my interest. If we get one this year will we be able to hang a backhoe when it’s offered?
This is my favorite color of Green! This really seems to be a well thought out tractor, and I'm sure the other guys are having meetings as we see this discussing what they have to do to squash this company and what they have to add to their machines for 2023. Time will tell and I wish Summit the best.
First look and I like it. They put some thought into things a person actually uses on a small tractor. I'm way interested in seeing more about this brand.
Impressive! Can't wait to see the 38hp model (2023?), as that will be the size I'll be looking for in the next year or two. Would love to support a fellow veteran's business. Get dealers in Ohio! lol
Great features. I like the extra hydraulics and rim guard. Make sure you include prices, lift capacites and are there other models coming? I think these guys are on the right track!!!
Hello, ITL (International Tractor Limited), has been manufacturing this model for several years at the SONALIKLA factory located in Punjab. It is sold in Europe under the SOLIS brand, and in Central America under the Yanmar brand. The engine is a 3-cylinder Mitsubishi (made in India), and the hydrostatic gearbox comes from KAYABA (Japan). I have owned this model (SOLIS 26 HST), since March 2022 (ordered early July 2021), and am waiting for the loader (also ordered over a year ago), with the original grapple bucket. For now I use it with a backhoe (S&C), made in Italy. The tractor seems solid and it is also very well equipped in Europe (rear work light, revolving light, rear hydraulic distributor, rear PTO 540 rpm and ventral (for a mower) 2000 rpm, circuit breaker, coupling front and rear, bar with holes, all the stands are adjustable (even on the left side) Fuel consumption is reasonable Only the finish is slightly down on the leaders Kubota, John Deere Iseki, especially in terms of paint of the roll bar and the chassis. I don't know the prices in the USA, but in France a tractor like this costs about -40% less than its Japanese, American or Korean competitors (I don't compare with the Chinese manufacturers The SOLIS brand is taking the 1st place in sales of compact tractors from Kubota on the European market.
Looks like a good value proposition, if the price is competitive. Of course, the elephant in the room (at least for me) is the dealer network. Being close to a reputable dealer/service/parts supplier is as important as the tractor itself. If that’s not there, then it would be really hard for me to invest. That being said I really hope these guys can give the big companies a good run for the money!
JD green is not cheap but I’ve owned my JD subcompact for 18 years and only changed oil and a couple of batteries. Nothing ever breaks. It always starts in cold weather. The hp to traction to lifting capabilities are well matched. The hydraulics have never overheated when pulling hard for extended periods Ultra reliable Love the standard features on the summit especially the self leveling loader. Hope they aren’t made in China.
There is no question these guys had the customer in my mind when they designed this. I bought my tractor in 2021, although happy with it the features do not compare to theirs. Now, I wish they would have been in the market when I was. Seriously, that is an awesome tractor.
O ... M ... G ... !!! In the research phase of buying my first tractor. Thought I had it all figured out and then I find THIS. Time to reconsider and do more looking and thinking. Thanks for sharing!!
5 min of googling and I just found out I can buy this from the Family Farm & Home store in my home town, and there is an authorized service shop in my home town as well. They don't have to have a traditional "dealership" near you. Looks like they've figured out how to distribute through retailers that already exist for other farm and tractor stuff. And you can get it serviced by local service shops that already exist for service anyway. It's seeming like a win-win. Only $1000 more than the 1025r I was considering, but on a par with the MUCH more costly 2025 and comes STANDARD with literally thousands of dollars of features I was prepared to pay extra for. What?!? This changes everything. I'm suspicious of things that seem too good to be true. But . . . they've got my attention at least.
@@rmcdaniel423 Did you bought it? I am actually in Europe and this Summit brand is actually just a rebranded Solis that is the most sold small tractor since 2021, so I was just gathering reviews!
I'm all for made in America anything! Tractors especially new company's can be a little touchy for parts if in the future the brand doesn't work and goes away it could be next to impossible to find parts but hey I wish them all the luck in the world! Great video!
I will almost eat my stinking underwear i this tractor is made in the US 🙈 Try search the internet for Solis 26 hst tractor. That tractor is made in India 😅
please tell me whats new? i have a solis hts 26 and its the same as the tractor you show us here. but my tractor is already 2 years old. and i will tell you something els....this tractor comes in many different colours and many names.
Nice to see more entrants to the market, but staying power (and convincing the consumer of that) is the name of the game. Far too many compact/sub-compact brands have come and gone, with arguably much larger corporate backings (Cabela's anyone?). Wish them the best, but I'm not holding my breath to see them a town over anytime soon. What could differentiate them is potential service partnerships with other nationwide tractor/equipment shops (or independents).
cabelas tractors were overpriced underpowered plastic garbage and their warranty service was a nightmare. No surprise they went under. I'm hopeful for new startups, we need fresh blood in the game.
@@ChaotiX1my point was they at least had the financial backing opportunity to make it work, but as you say squandered that opportunity on failed service experience
Rebranded Solis H24 - they added a better seat, a 3rd function valve, a self leveling system, a toolbox, rim guard, side view mirrors, and painted it green. Everything else is pretty much identical. From what I gather online they’re looking to put them in larger merchants - already partnered with Atwood’s (maybe Tractor Supply in the future). If you want one now I’d find your nearest Solis dealer cause that’s likely who you’ll be going to for parts/service anyways. Retail price on Solis is about 17250-18000 range - not sure what Summit is asking. Good tractor regardless of the color, ITL did a fine job. But this isn’t anything incredibly unique or specially designed.
Yes! Why didn't my dealer tell me about the third function and rear remote? I told him I didn't know much about tractors and wanted to make sure I got everything I needed. Summit has a bunch of that stuf standard. And don't get me started about the hood release!
Interesting video because it reminds me of the Ingersoll Tractor from the early 60's. The Ingersoll Tractor was founded when Jack Ingersoll bought the small AG division from Case Outdoor Power Equipment Division in 1983. The division traced its roots back to Colt garden tractors in the early 1960s. The business continued to produce garden tractors in Winneconne, Wisconsin using the hydraulic drive systems pioneered by Colt. Then purchased by Eastman Industries in 2005, and production was moved to Portland, Maine in 2006. The manufacturing of tractors continued through to January 2016 when Eastman moved from its location.
Rim guard finally a standard 👏. Great product 👏. Thanks for bringing a product to the market that actually speaks to what we have been begging for! 😀 Can't wait to try out the Summit Compact Tractor.
Well you got a lot of peoples attention including mine. I have 2 New Hollands 1520/1630 and consider updating the fleet. Will be looking forward to more info and more importantly testing. Biggest concern is parts availability 10 years from now.
seems like a really nice tractor. I know people use the smaller under 25hp engines to stay away from DPF but i will be impressed when companies start offering a tractor similar in size and hp as the deere 2038r. i personally think that would be an amazing all around tractor with its size and hp for someone like me who would use it for their side business or even main business
Ok, I'm impressed. They clearly were thinking about every possible option that user's want. I wonder if they up'd their game on the hydraulic flow. The hydros-plus upgrade for the JD subcompact tractors is a game changer. I'd also be curious about a backhoe for the summit tractor. I guess you could always get a standard 3 pt type BH.
One thing that they could do that will further distinguish them is a factory installed, nitrogen ride control for the loader. Small accumulators already exist and combined with a simple ele/hyd on off switch will make travel with and carrying loads the loader, far more comfortable for the operator and easier on the equipment as it eliminates shock loads over bumps. ( this is common on heavy equipment ) Once you run a loader with one, and specifically carry material with one, you will never be without it again.
Wow- these gents are not fooling around - all included, everything you would normally pay more for. I may have missed it but what is the Rear PTO HP? Is there a mid PTO? How many ranges? I am shocked that weighs 3400 lbs - That is alot for a tractor that size which offers great stability - the drive train must be all cast iron Courtney? Where is it built? Sorry for all the Q's Courtney LOL! But enquiring minds need to know. Congrats - you must be super excited!!
I followed the breadcrumbs through the marketing web and; where's the price? That is a main feature to display with horse power and all the rest. Even some price magnitude indication is important to reveal if it's $5,000 or $50,000. No posted price leads most buyers to assume it's too high and they just ignore the product.
Hope y’all do well, it’s a very thought out tractor and if I needed one, I’d be looking at Summit! The only concern for me, would be the seat as it appears to fit all the tall people and I’m quite short, is there an alternative seat for us short folks? Also I do like a mid mount mower as I’m a bit on the older side to pull one out, so the drive over feature of the 1025R makes it nice to change blades, etc. Are the gentleman thinking of a flail mower or bush hog and then a different mower for finish work? I think the other thing would be wheel spacers as that topic wasn’t discussed, will the tractor need those as well? One more thing due to my height limitations to deal with the ROPS, how easy is it for a short person to fold down? Lots of questions for sure, but I love the color!
I notice the front end loader is an Australian made Burder front end loader. a great piece of equipment i have had one on my John Deere 1025R for nearly 7 years, they have a great 4 in 1 bucket. regards John
Bucket is not really “Quick Attach” like they have on the JD or Kubota but it’s more like the Mahindra. It also keeps the parking stand in the tube that connects both the left side and right side lifer arms. Look closely at the older and you will see the tips of them in the spot where most people Stacy their chains. The releases are the pins in the Mast uprights. These pins are sorta hard to line up and reinstall unlesss u r on completely flat ground. Hopefully they have that part worked out
As always great video!!! I love the color and the options you get are amazing I love the looks of it I'm sure that it does the job at hand or ya'll wouldn't be showin it . Thanks for sharing be safe have fun can't wait to see more
Looks like a very well set up rig. BUT, I have my concerns about the location of the 3rd function valve, mounted to the side of the boom or loader mount may have been better, with lines and couplers run to the front, but I guess time will tell.
Very impressive! I’m interested to see the price. I purchased a Kubota LX2610 in 2020 with those exact same features. Now that I have them I wouldn’t have a compact tractor without them
Finally, a tractor company that has all the bells and whistles that would cost thousands of dollars of add-ons from other tractor manufacturers already included. I would def give this tractor a hard look before making any further decisions when I decide to purchase a new one.
They are having a backhoe made for it (us made) and adding a belly mower. Planned to come out in 2023. (They added a nice detailed comment that is pinned on this video after they read a bunch of questions from our comments)
I have two sets of tires and rims for my 4115 and both are loaded with RG in the rears. I still recommend a ballast box when doing loader work though. This new machine looks great, has some very nice features and is just great to see come on the market, but the big question is- where is it made? I know it has a Japanese brand engine but even a lot of Japanese products are being built in china now.
Looks pretty good. I bought one of the "no name" tractors years ago. A Farmtrac (Long Agri Business) made by LG. Good for its time and at a reasonable price. The draw back is Farmtrac went out of business and parts support can be a little bit of a challenge. The tractor has served me well.
ITL tractor looks like an India tractor Solis, H26 might be a donor tractor for what we see here. In the new owner's kit it would be nice to include a grease gun with Lube shuttle. Maybe some demonstration with offset flail, and other implements you have on your property, and what kind of snowblower options. That being said, unless Good Works Tractor becomes a dealer, most of the Atwood Ranch and home are in the Deep south. Service in Northern Lower Michigan would be very tough.
looks like some of my concerns are answered. I will be watching. Currently Brands in Northern Lower Michigan are John Deere, Kubota, LS, Manhindra, TYM, Branson, Massey, New Holland. Considering Branson 3515, LS 3135, B2601 or 2610, Massey 1529. Being 6'4" can make some of the stations un-useable. Position control on 3 point over 1/4" valving.

I will almost eat my stinking underwear i this tractor is made in the US 🙈 Try search the internet for Solis 26 hst tractor. That tractor is made in India 😅
@@renelorentzen5756 Montana tractors were also made in America for a very short time and it's near impossible to find parts for!
Made by an Indian company ITL
Made by an Indian company ITL.
@@renelorentzen5756 You are correct. This is a Solis H26 built in India that they are importing to the US.
please tell me whats new? i have a solis hts 26 and its the same as the tractor you show us here. but my tractor is already 2 years old. and i will tell you something els....this tractor comes in many different colours and many names.
Very impressed so far, makes it easier for first time buyers! This looks like a legit Johnny come lately!!
That is a beauty. Backhoe? Because of Justinflation I would have to sell a kidney.
Some of the dealerships around me started making it standard following so many incidents🙁
I love stuff like this!! Keep up the good work
Great tractor! I just put an order in for a tym t25. Wish I would have waited!
Looks nice. No DEF, got to love that. How about a full, heated cab and a front mounted snowblower?
Funny thing is on the 3rd. of July in Enid, OK. at Atwood's farm and home they had three of these beast in the parking lot. They look pretty tuff.
Love the design. Can't wait to see them come to Australia!
Also did anyone find out how much this costs?
TYM tractors are sold in Australia.
Is this the same tractor as a solis 24? Just a different color and different tires thanks
Well you got a lot of peoples attention including mine. I have 2 New Hollands 1520/1630 and consider updating the fleet. Will be looking forward to more info and more importantly testing. Biggest concern is parts availability 10 years from now.
Looks like a well-thought machine. I can’t wait to learn more.
looks like a John Deere 1025
seems like a really nice tractor. I know people use the smaller under 25hp engines to stay away from DPF but i will be impressed when companies start offering a tractor similar in size and hp as the deere 2038r. i personally think that would be an amazing all around tractor with its size and hp for someone like me who would use it for their side business or even main business
check out their website.... 38hp with cab in 2023
Stupid government.
Backhoe will be available soon and has a mechanical thumb, and its own seat, Made in USA.
@@Formulabruce Will it be able to have a hydraulic thumb?
Do you want one of these tractors? I know Mahle couldn’t get there ring business because of their quality.
Looking forward to more on this tractor.
Awesome can't wait
Thanks for sharing
Be well be safe
The engines are bulletproof. I have two LS with that engine. Never a problem.
Yes. These are the things I want on mine. Good for them
Very nice. I have a 2-Year old midsize Kubota and I held back on some additions due to cost. Nice to see but price comparison is yet to be discussed.
Well done.... a lot of thought has gone into the tractor!
Impressive so far...posted this on the Tractorbynet forum just now.
Great new product, looking forward to additional videos. Need more info as to where built, parts, service etc.
I notice the front end loader is an Australian made Burder front end loader. a great piece of equipment i have had one on my John Deere 1025R for nearly 7 years, they have a great 4 in 1 bucket.
regards John
I LOVE this and shown the video to several people.
When will they produce the larger tractor?
Looks like a well thought out tractor. My question is parts availability down the road, does it have a quick attach bucket and cab options?
It was mentioned in the video that quick attach is standard
@@bhoss7133 Thanks, I missed that.
Parts availability and dealer network support for warranty issues would be my concern.
Dealer and part support would be my main concern too.
Very impressive. The fact they have side mirrors and plugs for them if you take them off.
Hey Courtney. Wow very exciting! Looking forward to learning more.
Very impressive! I’m interested to see the price. I purchased a Kubota LX2610 in 2020 with those exact same features. Now that I have them I wouldn’t have a compact tractor without them
$18,999 with loader
$17,999 this week with loader!
They even have the actual service manual on their website, that’s a big plus for a diy’er like me!
Appears to be very well thought out tractor. What about dealer network, service?
I looked on their website and currently they only have dealers/service centers in texas and Oklahoma.
Finally, a tractor company that has all the bells and whistles that would cost thousands of dollars of add-ons from other tractor manufacturers already included. I would def give this tractor a hard look before making any further decisions when I decide to purchase a new one.
Your brand looks super promising. I am waiting to see what you produce in the 40 HP range.
Looks like a great tractor. Lots of great features. Wish them lots of luck.
Are there backhoes available for it
They are having a backhoe made for it (us made) and adding a belly mower. Planned to come out in 2023. (They added a nice detailed comment that is pinned on this video after they read a bunch of questions from our comments)
Nice little tractor I wish it was out when I bought my 1025r
I have two sets of tires and rims for my 4115 and both are loaded with RG in the rears. I still recommend a ballast box when doing loader work though. This new machine looks great, has some very nice features and is just great to see come on the market, but the big question is- where is it made? I know it has a Japanese brand engine but even a lot of Japanese products are being built in china now.
Definitely made in India. I bought a Solis H24. It is identical to this tractor.
This is a repainted solis 20/24/26 from India they sell in Europe.
Good job of presenting it.
I like all the standard features. Just watched PT 2 of this video. Pretty impressed.
Do you have a link? Don’t see PT 2 on good works channel
Tarted up solis. ITL builds tractors in India . Good luck guys hope the do well for you but I can’t see one in my shed.
I would like to try out this brand of tractor, and see if it meets my expectations, almost sold on the features.
I like that the hoses are tucked out of the way inside the front beams. Can this machine operate a rotary brush hog.
No discussion about the bucket or did I miss it? Is it a SSQA, Pin On or it's own proprietary system?
I'll take a Kioti CK2610SE. Also many standard features. Optional 3rd function. More lift capacity and heavier built.
Wow looks nice can’t wait for part two
Do you have package deals on them that come with rototiller belly mower as well as the front end loader
