    Very enjoyable ride. Haven't done that trip since l was a kid as I've been living in Queensland for the last 30 years so thanks for taking the time to do it and for keeping the interest by editing all the traffic lights and tram stops

      Hope you like it there. Can get a bit hot in summer. Years ago there were plans for various extensions here and there, but after a few changes of government, I think they all became forgotten.

      To both of you, I think it was Labor around the time that botanical and entertainment lines were built that others were also proposed. Then the liberals got in and killed it, and Labor has never revived.

      @peterl1964 generally, yes, but in NSW it was Labor who always was anti-tram but now they seem to be supporting continuing of the Parramatta Light Rail project.

    Three changes of Government and they still haven't managed traffic light priority for the trams.....

    • @tressteleg1
      @tressteleg1  6 месяцев назад

      I suspect the problem lies with the transport operators. They seem to take all their information from Melbourne which is not exactly the best in the world and has no priority at all, just some token gestures which help trams at a limited number of locations. I suspect that the government has never been asked for help in this regard.

      @@tressteleg1 I know Aldi is in Australia and also in a lot of other countries. Here in germany Aldi is the number one in discount Supermarket. They have a lot of home Brands. The most of the come from the same place as the big brands and have the same quality but are much cheeper. In Europa there ist a producation Code with 8 numbers, and with a little help from Google you can find out were these home brands come from.
