Amazing footage, keep up the good work!👌😎🎩
If only the tram network that was ripped up in the late 1950s was still around or some new tram lines were built serving the eastern (Norwood, Kensington, Burnside), southeastern (Unley, Kingswood, Mitcham), inner-southern (Wayville, Millswood, Colonel Light Gardens), northeastern (Paradise, Campbelltown, College Park), northern (Prospect and Kilburn) and possibly extend the Glenelg Tram to the west (past the Entertainment Centre out to Croydon, Woodville and Alberton via Port Road)
Those were just some made-up lines for fun 🤩

Adelaide should’ve kept it’s old network like Melbourne did

So true. The old network lines should have stayed around or more new tram lines should be built. There should be more tram lines serving Adelaide’s eastern, southeastern, northeastern and maybe western suburbs for example

@@UFOhunter4711 at least bendigo has one line as a tourist attraction, Geelong has nothing

I like how the crossing has the usual train standards but says TRAMWAY CROSSING - 2 TRACKS. Surprised they didn't just convert it into a regular signalised junction.

I was in Adelaide in December. Think I photographed all of the yellow trams.
Got a good wave from a driver, but most don't do as Transperth Bus drivers do

I've been to Adelaide a few times and every time the trams / trains / busses were always late and full of druggies. It's a shame public transport is so terrible in Australia considering the road networks in most cities here were never planned to have the extensive growth of the last 20 years, tram lines are relatively easy to construct compared to upgrading existing roads with extra lanes.

I’m not sure what public transport you have been using but at least for me it has always been extremely clean and well looked after. Cleaning crews are regularly on board and the rail operations staff tend to keep those under the influence off of the trains. In 2012-2014 the Adelaide metro system was pretty crap but as ridership has increased so has the quality of service and I have to say it’s one of the best systems I have used In Australia, albeit the stations need some upgrading and modernisation with some new track expansions as well.
