Great to see you come to Adelaide. I like our tram network and it is currently being extended to East Adelaide off North Terrace and Riverbank. Well done.
When was this filmed? Shuttle Trams haven't run on a regular basis since early 2016, when they were cut in lieu of a higher frequency along the whole line. Interesting to see a tram turn around at South Tce though, I've never seen that before (even though it happened often for a time).
It runs from the city to the beach with roughly 30 stops and runs from the city to the beach. It is quite a long tram line and takes about 40 minutes to travel on end to end.
It is so nice seeing trams in Australia. We have made an important article about light rail and why it is so important and how they can actually be both trams and local trains here distrita.com/7-important-reasons-why-light-rail-is-the-future-of-public-transportation/
Great Video, I particularly love these slim trams! My last stay in Adelaide was in 2012 where I took some videos too. Meanwhile the tram network has increased, would love to see all the changes. Greets from Germany! ruclips.net/video/IoHrVeecB8o/видео.html
The red Milan Citadis look particularly cool. I haven't been back to see the new extensions and hope to get back there and Germany as well to see some more light rail. Thanks for looking.
Trams made in Spain instead of Australia? Seems our state governments of either side of the political are a treasonous lot! Newcastle's new tinker-toy tramline is also getting foreign-built trams....Disgusting!
Like the Melbourne C2 Bumblebee tram, this was surplus to Italy's requirements so Adelaide took up the trams on offer. The E Class trams for Melbourne is the only current Australian order and it will be interesting where the next order comes from.
"Big Ticket" items like trams, trains, cars, trucks and such for transport, consumer goods like TVs, DVD players Blu-Ray players, set-top boxes(with or without PVR feature). Nothing of these made here in Australia. Why is this so? the answer is simple. TREASON by our state and federal governments, both Labor and Liberal! Australia is now a captive market for FOREIGN-MADE products. The only thing we export now is low-value raw material.
It's a disgraceful situation that we are not making our own of ANYTHING. And we CANNOT use a small national population as an excuse. Countries smaller than Australia have their own industries making big-ticket high-tech product. We had our own industries that were thriving at a time when our population was MUCH smaller than it is today. So, in the end, it gets back to State and Federal government TREASON!
Wow! thats some amazing videography
Thanks 😀😀

+Lewis Levy thanks!
Thanks! Nice video.
Thanks for looking mate!
No problem!
This is an example for London much better as the Busses.
Adelaide still has lots of buses. The trams work well with the buses and trains in Adelaide
Yes the London's famed Double Deckers are damn slow.
@ 5:25 so much standing behind the white line
Nice ""Tram Trains"" Does it go thru Thorngate ? (suburb in Adelaide}
Swamynathan Iyer No, only from city to Glenelg.

I like the trams, how long is the tram line
It runs from the city to the beach with roughly 30 stops and runs from the city to the beach. It is quite a long tram line and takes about 40 minutes to travel on end to end.
34 stops with about 14 kilometres of track
Too bad they couldn't have put a camera above the driver and let us enjoy the view. Surprised no one else mentioned it!
I'm sure someone will do it one day!
In mosly square there is one line not two

Thanks for that. I'll give it a share on my Facebook page Schony747.

Yep. There are 6 from Madrid that migrated to Adelaide.
Aren't there H Class anymore, are they? What a pity I would have paid gold to see them...

Looks if though every where is getting crappy Alstom trams. But we've got the worst of them I think the Citidis C1 Class tram
+Leo Spruch These were excess Citadis from Spain.
Cannot believe I’m here wasting my life watching freakin trams. Waiting to die I guess.
It could be worse. You could be watching golf! Thanks for having a look.
Фу , сколько мусора и грязи на остановках
Yes mate. It's everywhere 😀😀
