1. Make sure the key fob is inside the vehicle with you.
2. Step on and hold the brake, put gear shift in park.
3. Push and hold the engine start button until the engine starts or shuts off.
WARNING: It's not unusual for people to accidentally leave their car running with push button start. This can be dangerous in an enclosed space like a garage where there is risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.

How do I put a button with start stop on first gear after turning the engine off cause sometimes it starts when pushing the clutch

Thank you for the video. To be clear, you can just push the start button once with no braking, as the engine can be off? the lights will stay on when you open a rear hatch? How does one have the lights come on at night when opening the door for the first time before getting in to the car? How long will it stay in ACC mode, will it turn off by itself when you no longer need this function? The sales person is not replying to my emails. Alot of questions for you, I just want the electronic to be like again, like how it was with a out fashion key. Thank you for any help. Mike

My father is CONVINCED that you have to push "one side" of the button to start and "one side" of the button to stop. Nobody told him this but "with computers, things are different. You have to be careful" 😑😪

It depends on some cars
Example: you can put your foot on the brake and press the start button on most modern Toyota

What happens if you leave the vehicle with your key fob on you and the vehicle is still on?
It will still be on til u turn it off
My car beeps several times indicating that the key is no longer present inside the car. It will run for 15 more minutes and then turn off by itself.
