Union Pacific's Gila Subdivision in Southern Arizona - Spring 2023

Railfanning the Sunset Route during a road trip I took to Tucson last year in Mar 2023. Interstate 8 & 10 parallel UP's Gila Sub through most parts of Southern Arizona. I stopped along the way when I saw a train coming or going... I grabbed a few in downtown Tucson also including Amtrak Sunset Limited #2 heading East.

A line that is easy to follow, has lots of places to pull over and film, and wide open spaces where trains can be spotted miles away. Just a few of the things that make the Gila sub such an awesome line to railfan. Great shots dude!
