The Famous Sullivan's Curve in Cajon Pass - 2023

I've been to many locations within the famous Cajon Pass to film trains over the years...one location I felt I haven't documented enough was the iconic Sullivan's Curve. That being said, I made a video of footage solely from there.
This 180 degree swooping curve services Mains 1 & 2 only splitting off from Main 3 at CP Cajon. It's a great area to explore/hike to get some unique vantage points of the train snaking its way through the mountain.
Engines at full throttle, dynamics screaming, horns sounding... Sullivan's Curve has got it all!

I have been to that overlook on Sullivan's Curve many times Chris! It's easily one of my favorite locations watching trains climb and descend Cajon Pass! Great video as usual! :)

Great catches! I noticed BNSF 7102 was part of the lashup when you panned on unit 7544, probably would’ve gotten a P5 if the lashup was in reverse :/
