    Fun video, Chris. I love that you’re always chasing perfection in your room. More big changes come along!
    Lowering the noise floor would be great. I’ve got my room as quiet as I can get it without adding a mini split. When the AC runs, the supply register can be heard, but it isn’t too bad. I upgraded to a high flow register and that helped big time.
    I really want to do a hush box or get my projector out of my room. My JVC is very quiet on low lamp, but if I do high lamp, nope - way too noisy. I’m in a basement and it makes it hard to enclose the projector while it’s suspended from the ceiling. Ceiling height is the other issue. I have a 7 foot ceiling and I already have to walk a round or slight duck when I enter the room since I’m tall. I have ventilation figured out, but adding the box without killing ceiling height and making sure I can access the projector for service…still haven’t got my head around that issuev

    I am a huge fan of Outlaw and have been using a pair of the 5000x to power my surrounds/atmos speakers. Back about 20 years ago, I used the previous version of the monoblocks to power my LCR speakers. GREAT company for sure.

    Since youre covering the walls with fabric again. Uou dont even have to use drywall. You could just as easily do OSB or plywood. Thats what i did for one layer on my front wall. Easier when i mounted my screen

    Looking forward to the updates. I actually have a row of 4 of the Monterey Seatcraft seats in my theater. Those are some really comfortable seats. As for making your channel grow, do some shorts. I think that can help grow your channel. As for work, I know how that is. I put in 70 hours a week. Sometimes though you have to take time for yourself. Keep grinding bro.

    How has it been with the current one sitting in the middle? Do you miss not having armrests?

    • @myhometheater7029
      @myhometheater7029  2 месяца назад +1

      I only set in the middle when reviewing movies even though the theater is calibrated to all seats. But I don’t miss the armrest. I would have gotten chairs but 3 wouldn’t fit so I went with the console.

    Awesome updates, lots coming!
    We just finished our pool and I haven’t posted any reels yet but I will.
    I went with two outdoor audio zones controlled with two separate Marantz Cinema 70s, two speakers per home run, totaling 24 speakers and 6 subs. My patio setup taught me a lot about outdoor audio, I applied those lessons learned to the pool and it came out great. I went with Coastal Source for the pool and it looks and sounds quite high end. Very happy with all the choices out there so far… let me know if you need any help or advice!

    I just want to say that I am a big fan of your channel. It's a fun channel because you are like me. I love home theater. I can tell that you like that you like the hobby. I don't get to talk home theater or 2-channel audio with anyone around here, so I consume all I can. Even if it's something that I may not believe in, like 70,000 power cables. Those guys are talking av and I don't mind different points of view.
    As far as the results and results that you hope to reach. Try not to be too hyper-focused on that to the point that it gets you down. Just today, I came across an interview with former NBA player JJ Redick in which he describes talking with himself after not reaching his goal in his 3rd year. "Why don't I just love the process and not be tied to a result."
    Your channel is fun because it is you being you. There's a line from a song that says "And so what If I love its sparkle and its bangle? Why not Try and see things from a different angle? Your life is a sham Until you can shout "I am what I what I am"
    Whatever ride you take us on. I'll be there to watch. Thank you.
