Everytime (usually at night, rookies had night shift) I would see this same girl working the graveyard shift in the ER and in between cases we'd talk and shoot the Sh##...anyways, we eventually went out and have been married all this time! This song has always been "ours" and i listen to it all the time because it reminds me of our crazy times!

Agreed. I was one of those ppl for awhile too. Only knew like 3 of his songs from the radio & MTV. But when I bought his first G/H album in the early 90's, I was blown away by all the other great songs he had (like this one) that barely got played on the radio. He was definitely not just a one hit wonder.
Watching this again. Exactly 39 years ago when this album came out…spring of 85. I got the cassette and played it incessantly on my portable tape recorder! (My car wasn’t fancy enough to have a cassette player!). Hearing this takes me right back. And it seems like yesterday.

I lived in rural USA back when this video/song first came out. Cable wasn't an option and luckily there was a sole station on TV that would play only three or four videos around midnight on Friday night. Would wait all week for Friday to roll by so I can catch the latest on videos hoping to see a fav song as they were super random picks. Then one Friday night they aired this video and I was in mad love with the song. I had never heard it before and I bugged my parents forever to get me the tape :) Still one of my most fav songs of all time!!!! Awh the 80's had the best music I swear.

I related to Rick's music as a teenager. I've loved his music since I was7 years old. Every man wanted to be him and every girl had a crush. Rick battles depression as do I. Rick you're one in a million.
i talked to rick 3 weeks ago . i met him when i was 15 . reverse those numbers . im 51 now . i showed him the pic of him and me in 1985 . i then showed him the shirt i wore in the picture . he said " WOW ! ". i mailed him the original picture in 2000 and he autographed it and mailed it back . now i have the shirt autographed and that is wild !! he is so damn cool and the concert was great !!!!!

i talked to rick 3 weeks ago . i met him when i was 15 . reverse those numbers . im 51 now . i showed him the pic of him and me in 1985 . i then showed him the shirt i wore in the picture . he said " WOW ! ". i mailed him the original picture in 2000 and he autographed it and mailed it back . now i have the shirt autographed and that is wild !! he is so damn cool and the concert was great !!!!!
