Just tried this and it works great. Ran the machine without this part in also. I got 4 tiny grains smaller than sand out and now I have a freshly poured latte. Thanks very much.

There’s a pin at the back of the machine used for this reason. I’ve just done both of my machines and put them in white vinegar to descale. Great video though, helped me out loads!

Holly sh*t, that fixed it!! I was angry, I was shaking my machine, expecting possible air bubble to come out. And that needle thing feel out. I thought "what a hell is this from, I probably lost some spring, haven't I?". I was jamming an actual needle up the machine's nozzle. That would not help: I'd get water jetting out with pressure and then pouring out for a second just to stop soon after. Then I ran into this video. I could not take the disk out, because plastic covers entire front when machine is closed. Then I found that spring needle thingy, jammed it into a nozzle with it still in machine, and gave a good stirring. Worked like a charm. Did not even know I had this tool, since there is no hole behind the tank to store it. Still don't know where it had been tucked. You are a lifesaver. It's hard to live without Life Juice (coffee). You just saved countless lives, 😂
No water flow out from dulco guto machine i have tried cleaning nozzle and everything. But no water flows out . Pls note that there is no sound of pump turning ON but green light turns on

You, sir, deserve a big thank you ! Most of these manufacturers don't want these things to last . Also , if you get water spilled around the diffuser that same pad needs to changed. It happened to me. At first I cleaned it as shown here , but the rubber o-ring was compressed and it still leaked . Bought a new diffuser and now machine works as new.
Where did you find the diffuser? I think mine needs to be changed as well. It's all scaled up no matter how long I leave it in vinegar and scrape it, and water runs from the sides. I was looking for new machines to buy but this can totally be fixed why spend the money if parts are available

Yaay, add me to the list of grateful folk who have succeeded in reviving their coffee machine using your guide 👍 The tip as to where the official nozzle tube cleaner wire is kept was genius (why didn't I read about that in the User Guide?). I confess I tried 'the easy way' first and poked it UP the nozzle before trying removal. It partly worked but I guess that it didn't fully work as there is still muck in there that gets pushed back down by the pressure. For the opening up I was astonished to find I couldn't find a single paperclip in the house! I eventually had a flash of inspiration - I found a thick darning needle (I have loads of those!), cut off the top to make it non-pointed/flat, and wiggled that about. It worked! After more use of the special tool and soaking the unit in some WARM vinegar it's all back to working as it should. Many thanks. As you hint at it's really poor that this easy maintenance action isn't documented in the User Guides. How much money has been spent for pro-repairs, or worse how many machines have been discarded, all for the sake of knowing how to use a bent paperclip? Thanks again 👍👍

Thanks for this helped me fix one I found at an opshop that had a punctured seal where they stuck a needle through to get the head out to clean like this.

Very easy fix. Thank you. Mine doesn't have the manufacturer-supplied tool, but I just used the same paper clip that I released the plate with to pierce the needle.
Excelent - works! I'll add that my machine filled needle with calcium after cleaning. I assume that cleaning liquid brought from calcium inside to needle. So good idea is to do cleaning by liquid and needle afterwards.

Hi mate my cartridge is stuck and the machine also has the water flow fault any ideas how to correct this?
Pour hot water between capsule and diffuser to dislock then use the tool as shown in the video .
