Thank you for the disassembly video. For those who have the same problem like me: After switching on the machine it should blink slowly red (about 1x per second) during the heating up then it turns to green steady light - ready to pump the hot water. When it however shortly after switching on starts blinking red faster and never turns to green it means there is a problem with the heating. In my case it was just a bad contact for the NTC sensor which was otherwise ok (my had about 150kOhm in normal temperature).

I had the gasket problem also which required disassembly before I'm able to access that circular/tubular gasket which holds onto the water outlet of the removable water tank. I managed to fix that by just dropping an additional O ring which just fits nicely into the hole, and then dropped the original gasket over that. Since there is less longitudinal travel of the tubular gasket, it grips the water outlet better circumferentially.
      Worked.

Turned out the problem was underneath the water select lever as the hot water tube stayed closed due to lack of use...I managed to remove it and turn it around 180 degrees so it was 'fresh' tube under the lever...

After spending somes hours to find why the water pump refuse to start (take mesures on triac of the pump, Z3M, take datasheet of the microcontroller, a STM8S003F3P6, i have finally found the problem: the sensor on the HOLD connector don't work. The pump in mine is not starting either can you tell me exactly what you did to fix yours? I could not understand exactly what you did. @zapanjormas4787 Год назад

@@mmendoz7677 (sorry for my english) to test if your problem is the same as mine, just make a short on the two littles wires that came from the board HOLD connector to the top of the coffee machine (it go behind where the caps holder is).
So, more simply: disconnect the cable marked HOLD on PCB, and make a direct connexion between the two pins (a short circuit), and try to start your cofee machine. if it work, look under the cap holder (where you put your coffee caps), and check if there is a magnet on one side. if there is no magnet, you have just loose it, like me. You can buy some for some bucks on amazon/ebay/ali express, just search neodymium magnet, and look for a size who fit un the little hole under the caps holder (maybe 5mm by 3mm by 1mm, don't remember), and glue it with hot glue or super glue (test the right position, left or right, with hot glue, before make it definitive with super glue^^)

It has to be in the wall of the capsule drawer/holder. There is a resign over it. Take out the capsule holder and see if you have a hole inside. If yes the magnet was lost when you have clean it. If you can see the shiny resign then the magnet is still there and the sensor on the other side might be the problem.

Or pull the plastic holder backwards after you press the two tabs from under the device. Its a little bit mor dificult, so unscrewing the heater fron the plastic holder is the easiest way...

Try filling in the water tank with water all the way up and run again the machine. The weight of the water could be enought to create some presure and start it again. Or just force some water into the intake when powered on. Hope my instructions help. BTW I have a video on my channel on this topic.

    Hi,
Do you have advice how to remove the shell with genio s plus?
A capsule (nespresso) adapter got stuck in mine and I have no idea how to take it out. I am afraid I will break it.

You used a Nespresso adapter on a Nescafe machine....no bueno! Try smacking the unit over the hear (up and on sides) and in the meantime wiggle the capsule try.

Hello, my machine turns on, but when I turn the lever to operate it it it does not give any signal. Do you think it could be the magnetic sensor?

Hey Adrian can you help me with my mini me? A coffee capsule broke and flooded the inside of my machine with coffee milk and now it wont turn on or work. I tried flushing the milk out of the maschine under the sink. Would dissasembling it work or is it broke forever?

If you are from UK you can try by checking the fuse in the power plug. If not inside there is some fuses on the heater element and pump. If all are ok, then is something on the main board. You can order a new board and swap.

Disconect from power imediatly. You have leaquid shorting on internals. Open it up and clean it inside and the electrical connections with alcohol. Ok leave it be for 2 days to dry out.

if your one isn't magnetic (the test with the screwdriver in the video), you have lost it, like me. I take some neodym magnet that fit in the oblong (there is one larger on one side), fixed it with hot glue for test. Test ok, so fixed with Super Glue.

"Dolce Gusto not pouring water EASY FIX". 3. Pui o garnitura mica peste garnitura diffuserului. Caută videoul meu "DOLCE GUSTO leaking water".

the most horrible construction ever, full of plastic clips that bend and breaks, 1 hour to take apart, 1 hour to put it back ... ....whoever designed this needs to be jailed.
that o-ring at the base should be easy to change but no, they put that plastic cover fused with the case , even if you take those 2 screws out , still not enough , the plastic round cover is fused with the case....
this is made to be put in the bin, not repaired.

Hi Adrian, just looked at 3 of your Dolche gusto machine videos as my machine (it's second hand and in really good condition) isnt wanting to pick up water. I watched and followed your water injector video and after cleaning no water is coming out of it or being picked up... I think it's the new jug, (previous one broke 🥲) or the pump itself. I'm probably just going to buy another one. What would you suggest?
