The cantankerous jazz/rock/blues drumming legend, of Cream & Blind Faith with Eric Clapton among others, died in Oct 2019. He largely liked the finished movie.

Roger probably got laid a lot more and didn't end becoming some wheezy Gollum-esque recluse who lashes out at everyone around him, so I'd say he's the real winner in the long run.

I always thought it hilarious how Jay just cuts to himself smoking a cigarette with bloody nose and trembling hand showing he lost. The poor wife is just caught in the middle with a tired look.

The more I read about Ginger Baker's temperament, chaotic life and his upbringing, the more I think he had undiagnosed borderline personality disorder
He had an upbringing with a lot of violence. That does something to your mind.
Ah Ginger. Sure he could be a right twat & he made plenty of mistakes. But he had talent and used it to create incredible music while living a life largely on his own terms. A man’s man.

Jay Bulger (the director) said a certain someone (I think a tour manager) was going to be featured in the film and Ginger was very against that. Baker said that person ripped him off of a lot of money
@@bennyshaversmusic590 Honestly 2/3 of Cream members were bad. Clapton is a racist anti-vaxxer and Ginger was such an old man prick. I'm not too familiar with Jack Bruce though. It sucks, they were brilliant musicians but they had skeletons they couldn't hide.

@@eog5217 Baker was completely mad and a violent man. Once he smashed and kicked Jack Bruce when they were playing in the Graham Bond Organisation...he had a knife with him and afterwards fired Bruce.
Yes Ginger was mean and the bloke was a little too pushy. He should have known better not to antagonise the old bastard.
