      They made such a lovely sound. Dad’s had a musical clinking noise as the hand crank handle knocked against the casing. Very evocative of my childhood. Thanks for watching.

    I have a 1950 Ferguson TEA (gasoline) in Canada. It is very similar to the tractor my Dutch grandfather bought upon coming to Canada. The Canadian government advised him that to farm in Canada, he must have a tractor, so he bought a 1952 Ferguson. Poor fella was known to yell "Whoa" in Dutch when he forgot how to stop the tractor, as he had only ever farmed with horses.

    I love this video. The Man has excellent taste in Tractors. Both very reliable. My 1st tractor I drove alone at age 12 was a 49 like his 50. The 135 is Identical to one I ran in my 20's. Both never let me down and always started on the coldest winter days in Utah's Ranch county. If it didn't we would say jokingly but usually true. Operator error. You need to know how to talk to the old girl. 😁👍

    Hey Rory... I’m a ML pilot, and noted you mentioned flight training is resuming this week... I can’t use the strip we’re at without a bit more time with the instructor, but haven’t yet heard that training can recommence. Is there a CAA article somewhere that details that? And great wrap up to the series... makes me want to visit the northern climes more often!

      @RoryOnAir  4 года назад

      Dan Smith cheers Dan. We are, but only after a lot of detailed and extensive planning and measures put in place by Helicentre that’s been fully approved by the CAA. I think each training school will need to speak to the CAA themselves I’m afraid. I believe it’s only commercial training (ie for commercial pilot courses rather than PPL/ leisure) that’s resumed too.
