- The women's scene of racing in Enduro has become more and more competitive over the last few years. In this short film we talk to some of the pro women who are leading the charge, and discuss why and how this competitive 'boom' has happened. Has it affected sponsorship? Are the women valued equally as the men now?

I really love what we get from the women of EWS Enduro interviewing each other. More reflective, very comfortable, and the "video eye" captures so many small details of value, based on this perspective. So good to see what is valued here, the fun, the performances, the comraderie, strength. Such an amazing group.
There has definitely been a big increase in woman riding, but also in the level they are riding at. Not just the top level, but at grass roots to. I was at a very grassroots enduro race at the weekend, and it’s the first I’ve done for a couple of years. The level of riding from the girls (under 18’s) and also the ladies was hardcore. They were fucking flying, and riding much more aggressively, and hitting all the features much more than my previous experiences at races. It was great to see, and the camaraderie was brilliant.
Like the video said, when you see the top riders doing things, it opens the doors to what is seen as achievable, and however long it took to get to that level for those who have reached it, will be achieved in a fraction of the time for those coming up to it.

Definitely hope to see more team spots and decent money for the women. I watch the men's/women's coverage 50/50 and my most recent merch purchase was a moxie11 tee, loving Katy W's work! The male/female balance of my riding mates has definitely improved in recent years and they are all shredding it! 🔥

Watching the women shred is double cool! Imho, women riders are so smooth and precise in their riding styles. Men riders, although equally fun to watch, just don't demonstrate that same level of smoothness and precision. Sure, they bulldoze through everything, while the women seem to work with the terrain not compete with it. Impressive skills, outstanding bikes, cool ladies and all presented in a well put together edit!

Awesome video! It’s great to see the women smashing it, not just in Enduro, but the DH is arguably more exciting then the men’s this season.
Hopefully because of the work you are putting in now, my daughter will get to grow up with lots of heroes!
I wish that the EWS would be "the pillar" for woman's racing. Equal pay, at least one female rider per team mandatory and maybe some sort of reward for those who field more. Seems like its not too much to ask but I don't really know the inner workings I suppose.

I race enduro with my teen boys. We are all fans of EWS enduro, men and women equally. Except the women give us more: more stories, more insight into the challenges, rewards, joys of competition. You damn well deserve equal pay.
