- 16 years ago we walked into the Anchorage Animal Shelter and the cutest little kitten chose us to be her family. She has been so loving and fun and sweet her entire life. We've tried to give her the very best life, now the time has come to give her the most peaceful and comfortable passing. Best cat ever. We will alway love you, Missy.

I still remember the first time she broke into the guest room to sleep with me. All huffing and mad because the door was closed. And moving the chair for her so she could get up on the bed to snuggle with me. She helped me with so much homework. I’m so glad I got to know her, and my heart is breaking that I won’t get to see her again. Thanks for sharing your cat with me. 🌻💖

That's the same with me I'm sitting here weeping for all of y'all. I've never even been around but about 3 cats in my 75 yrs. When I lost my last doggie girl in April before I lost Stan in November it was so very hard - 14 yrs she'd brought such joy but those last 2 days. I think that was part of the memory of this - when is it time? You can only know that you've been blessed to brought her so much love & given her such a beautiful life. I firmly believe that our animals will greet us on the other side. Love & hugs to my Legg Family & our family on RUclips that mourns with you as well. So many hugs (((((())))))

They always know when to let us know! It is the hardest part. I learned I never put a pet "down" but rather lift them up!

We found out this week that our 5 year old cat has an enlarged heart. He will need medication for the rest of his days and we are hopeful he will respond well so we can have as many days as possible.

💔 Beautiful seeet Missy is now playing with so many new friends over at the rainbow bridge. This brings back sad memories of when we had to make that decision for our dog. It was SO hard! I had to realize that it was time for me to stop being selfish by wanted her to stay with us longer. It was time to set her free from the pain.
