I remember when the Chevy Luv first hit the market. I fell in love and have always wanted one. Can't remember the last time I saw one on the road. Great video! New sub!
Thanks! I thought they were really nice as well. Wish I had a dark grey or black arm rest to go with it. I plan on applying some rust preventative to the whole underbody sometime. Also have some boiled linseed oil to preserve patina without additional rust. But I’m going to drive it for a while now and hopefully get my 4x4 going before winter weather sets in
@@fabricobbletech If you clean the arm rests up really good you can rattle can them black. My door panels were tan before I painted them. My sun visors were blue. Paint holds up pretty good.
Just ordered me up a pair of those awesome sill plates. I'll let them know you sent me! I only wish they were longer than the factory and covered the entire sill.
Felicidades amigo como lo tratas a esa hermosura!!!!. por favor tuvieras el diagrama de distribución de los fusibles? o alguna dirección para consultar?
Is, there a chance that you could make homemade crank window seals copying the ones that were in there in the first place? That MIGHT solve your problem, just an idea though.

The job came out fantastic. I tried installing a carpet kit. It literally looks like Stevy Wonder installed it.
Great job, you probably extended the life of the truck 25 years already. Those door panels are mint.

@@LuvTruckGarage Awesome. Do you use special paint for vinyl or something?
@@fabricobbletech I think I used rustoleum satin black but vinyl paint would do the job.
I've been waiting for another of your videos. I had to search for this. I've subscribed from the start. Keep them coming.
That’s weird that it didn’t send you a notification. You have the notification bell clicked? Thanks for the feedback and kind words
Looks great. Thanks for the shout out!
Absolutely! Thanks for supporting the LUV community.
Floor plan pan looking great! 😎
Better than when I started anyway! Thanks

Awesome. They are a very nice piece and really dress up the doorway.
Damn that looks good! Awesome work! Bravo bro!
Thanks a lot!
Turned Out Great.
Nice work 👏
Great job!!
THATS RAD, GREAT JOB ON THE FLOOR
Thanks a lot! Far from perfect but good enough for a daily driver I’d agree.

nice job mate.did you use gas on your mig or flux wire?
Gas
Make u make a video on how to connect a aftermarket stereo on one of these trucks ... step by step
Would it be better to leave a weep hole in the middle of the floor panels for drainage?
Tough question because that hole will also allow ingress from underneath. It's definitely one I have pondered, though
I live in Wichita and I’d sure like to know where you are finding these LUVs. I can’t find any around here!
Usually pull them out from pasture where they’ve been laid to rest lol
Are you anywhere near Dighton?
Tengo una luv en pto vallarta necesito hacer el mismo trabajo
What seal did you use for your doors?
Ordered it from Thailand I think on EBay if I recall correctly. Either that or the guy from Thailand that sells on Facebook
The only thing left unrestored on my 73 is the crank window seals. Damn I wish I could find them.
Me too. Mine leak like a sieve

@@danbasta3677 That's definitely a thought. Thank you Dan.
Are you talking about the felting at the top, or the seal at the bottom of the window. There are universal replacements for both on amazon.
@@mrkbalding Talking about the vent wing window felt/gasket.
Where did you order the floor pans from?
Supplier in Thailand I found on Facebook.
I'm also looking for seat belts
I ordered these off of Amazon. Pretty generic and just a little shorter than ideal on the seat side.
