- Previously we purchased this rig and got it running. I gave "LUV TAP" to my buddy Slick and we've been fixing on it here or there. This week we decided to spruce her up a little and do a little more fixin on it. Be sure to check out the second channel for more content!

Man really been diggin Slick being in the videos lately. You can tell you two have been friends for a minute. Still hoping for Slick to start a channel so we can see some of his sheet metal work. Thanks to both of you fellers for making Monday's a little better.
I think Puddin should cut him in as a partner. Maybe he could do his own stuff here. They’d probably do better financially with less channels between them to divide their viewers. They’ve already got two.

Just today I found a 1000 dollar Ford courier where I live. After watching countless hours of your videos I feel like I could do some pot county sh*t in my own back yard!
I had a lil courier back in the day. Thrashed the hell out of it. But it kept going. My brother the shop Forman at Lexus just got a 78 ford courier with the long bed for free from a customer who’s family member passed away and nobody wanted it. Og paint, he gets more thumbs up in that lil courier than in his new tundra. Super gas saver too. Congrats on your find and have fun fixing her up.

I've done some of that work on my truck lately courtesy of the AutoZone paint/bed liner department. my bed was 3 different colors not even counting the rust spots, not they all black

I bought a 76 back in 81 or so. Drove it for about 10 years. I loved the LUV. floorboards rusted completley out. Lost a few cans of beer that way. After I got married my Wife wanted to drive it to go pick up a keg. I said you really don't want to do that. Well she made it around the block parked it came in the house with a migraine and never asked to drive it again. :-)
I’m 10 min into this and I laughed more than I have all weekend. I needed this. It’s healthy for the soul !!

My Diddy had a red chevy Luv. I ran it directly into a pine tree when I was a kid and we rebuilt it back together. Memorise I will never forget! Keep on keeping on Pudd.
That Christmas shirt was an instant purchase. Literally paused the video, followed the link and snagged it. That’ll be the one I’m wearing in all the family Christmas pictures this year!

When I was 10 my grandaddy gave me his 78 Lightweight Utility Vehicle and I learned to drive. Me made me learn with a manual witch I figure should be a law every one learn with one lol. Had to stack pillows behind me to get the clutch pedal to the floor and as soon as I can I'll start saving and looking for one again. By age 17 I had 2 long beds, 2 short beds one of witch was 4x4 and 1 long bed auto Trans not all at the same time, never could get it to shift right. Grandaddy had me replace the head gasket when it blew on me I think a was 12. If he was still here he would have prob watch this with me. Thanks for showing the luv some love guys if I ever get a chance to get one of my own again I'll be the happiest man on Earth! And thank for bringing some great memories back!

I think that is a given, myself included, Puddin’s videos takes all the dirt dauber nests, rust and mouse poo that have built up during the day in any Monday. Leaves one with a good feeling and a million smiles.

This access hole you are making is exactly like what the 521 series Datsun/Nissan trucks had in order to be able to replace any fuel lines that needed replaced within the future going from the top of the gas tank to the goose neck and any other fuel lines that need eventual replacement.
So glad to see you clean and service things, in my book it's the only way to go! Glad to see someone that does it. It's bad enough to make something like this go with dirt grim and shit, you know that it's right, Love it clean as much as possible, Thanks, Thumbs Up!....
Yep I agree, nothing pisses me off more than a "Professional" bolting up brand new or reconditioned part on something that's either rusted to shit or covered in mud, it's like damn bro atleast clean it with a wire brush and some rubbing alcohol and hit it with some rust stop or rattle can black. The "average guy" they trying to show how to build a car aint doing that crap, they are going to do it right.

That Chevy Luv looks SPECTACULAR!!! Luv the stance, Luv the budget-friendly did-do's all over the place. She really looks good, worthy of some tin replacement on your second channel (floors, passenger side rear flank), nothing too fancy. She is a cruise-worthy, parts-fetching, true-blue pick-up truck. I’m sure those rear lower shock mounts will do some digging into the roadway if you ever get a rear flat tire. Great vid though. 🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍

So got a chance to watch this and hate to admit it but the big chrome discs that Slick put on that rig really set it off, loved the use of the license plate and the stop sign as new floor material was perfect. And that new bed from the trailer was nice. Loved the collaboration between the two of you it’s good to see, it was amazing you two actually got done what you wanted to git did as you were having a good time laughing it up.

The rear brakes always kept my blood pressure up. Back in high school I had piles of luvs. People would just give them to me. They would be like you have a luv? Want another one lol. Gotta love the ol "luv machine"
The dirt daubers had that rear diff looking like one of those fancy aluminum ones with the heat sink fins. Every time I’ve seen it on video I had to do a double take. 🤣
I will say this is one of my top 5 videos from you. I say I’m liking the budget friendly rebuilds pretty damn kool. This one reminded me of my brothers Chevy love that he basically did the exact same thing to except he painted his in the garage on a budget and I was about 10 years old and it was cool then and still cool now thanks for the Bitchin video.

I’ve had a few dewalt sawzalls/drills smoke like that at work. Pop the covers off and blow that thing out good, then hit it with some electrical contact cleaner and blow it out again. She’ll be good for another 100,000. Keep up the good work Puddin.

Great video. the bed from the trailer is from a 75 or 76 Luv. 77-80 Luvs had the 2 tie downs on the tailgate and 3 on the sides
