I can imagine Rachmaninoff's gigantic hands playing this
Rachmaninoff didnt write this. This is an arrangment for solo piano. The original is for 2 pianos
@@fredericchopin9001 he didn't say he did
Ew, stop imagining my hands. It’s weird.
Rachmaninoff: "lol ez"
ohm. Why did you send this link?
me:this is impossible
sees *rachmaninoff*
me:ohhh
Plot twist:
Rachmaninoff played this with only his right hand
Other plot twist: Rachmaninov is left handed
@@consolekid7908 other plot twist: rachmaninoff doesnt have hands
The ultimate form of the mega plot twist: he played this with just 1 toe.
How twisty can this plot get?
@@main3240 biggest juicy twist: Rachmaninoff played this piece with his mouth not with a piano instead he sung it
At first i was thinking this was going to be an easyish song to play for school but then God took over torwards the middle
You must've skipped the name of the composer whilst reading the title...
Franz Liszt Lol
@@levim.3505 Rachmaninoff is the big daddy
The first 10 measures are easy - I’ll go as far as that. I don’t need the main corpus lol
Piece
those ending chords at 2:54 signify rachmaninoff’s style so much. amazing beauty in so few words
Basically the whole piece signifies his style
the fps... so smooth.
Thanks
After an intense piano session I can finally play this until 0:10
Haha
Nigga u good
Man you're now one of the most talented people in the whole wide world,. BTW can i have your autograph?

knowing the music starts at 0:08, that's insane
That middle voice... 0:35 - 0:45 (And precisely 0:40)
Beautiful
I like the way this piece of music starts with almost cute sounds and then, becomes serious and more complicated structure-wise toward the end. Love it so much. 💚
The sound quality is impeccable
I love this piece
Same
I just gave you the 1k like. Well deserved!
bro it took me 3 weeks to learn this song by pausing and replaying this video.
The harmony in this is unique
Rachmaninoff really knew how to make keys like this sound magical.
im sorry i only have 2 hands. i guess this piece is not for me :/
Coby Boeder
That's possible to play with 2 hands. It's just you'll need lots of accuracy and speed.
Jolinders108 it's not a duet. It was just written by a guy with really big hands and an even bigger ego
Jolinders108 no it’s not.
Coby Boeder having more hands makes it harder.
Juju B Rachmaninoff had large hands, but this arrangement was also written by a guy with huge hands.
I love these right hand warmups
This lil' polka is an incredibly powerful song. I gotta admit, it's actually quite beautiful.
this has such beautiful lyrics
@@ludwig4029 Yes, the chorus has very beautiful words.
1:44 Hungarian Rhapsody no 2 anybody?
+Ping Pong Cup Shots I thought exactly the same :)
+Ping Pong Cup Shots i'm literally going to just thumbs this comment up because of your name
The entire song seemed to sound like Hungarian Rhapsody... maybe it was inspired by it.
I know right, my ear was asking me so badly to finish that part and it feels disappointing haha just like when you listen to a song based in another song for a parody that sounds alike but just not the same so it's not copyrighted and they sound awful xD
so true
Wow. How have I not heard this. I feel ashamed to like music. This is wonderful
Absolutely Amazing high end.
Musical theorists, whats going on after 2:49? I love the way that resolves in the chords
Eb that goes to consecutive chromatic descending minor thirds (G-Bb/ F#-A/ F-Ab)
@@Arjogezh thank you!
I love it too
I fucking love the ending
I love the whole song.
Eporeon
*the whole piece
Me too
So... Is no one gonna talk about how beautiful the section at 1:09 is at all?
This is the most difficult piece I will attempt to learn
Yassin Osman hows it going so far?
@@NBUU1 *Losses hopes and de-motivation*
But... You need another pair of hands?
I love it
Thank you!
So nice!!!
Believe me, this is just like "twinkle - twinkle little star" for Rachmaninoff
at first I was like oh this doesn’t look too hard and then it got to the last parts of the song and I was LORDY LORD those glissandos
1:08 That random transition to major though
It somehow works perfectly
@Seb Halter like the Spanish Inquisition?
I realy love your tutorials! But make 2 different colors for handddddsss please
pah N00BS I wrote this on my lunch break
I wrote Enigma Variations while I was sleeping get rekt Nub
You are arrogant
you are duodenum
it's a transcription, so basically a piece you didn't make
@@theironbuilder7973 mate the first thing said in the video is Italian Polka ARRANGED BY V.Gryaznov. Yes, I know the piece was originally made by Rachmaninoff, but Gryaznov took his piece to make a transcription. No hate tho...
Garmoniya akkord klassno👍🏻👍🏻
everytime i hear this sound it remindes me of my childhood days
Yukiteru Amano U used to listened to it?
Oh yes I know thid piece. On my school we have a school pianist and he is VERY VERY VERY good. We have a class called euretmi where we learn cordination of our body and when we did movements with sticks then we did that to this.
I think this piece is overlooked when compared to other Rachmaninov pieces. My friends who also like him have never mentioned it
Love the music and software. 😍How about Czadas?
An anthem worthy of Rome...this Italian tribute shows how smart the piano can sound without too much flutter. A fine citation towards the piano orientation mind. Rachmaninoff concludes this list of wondrous 10 composers. Regarding of best here to part with this is also in personal best composers: Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Schubert, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Strauss, Edward Grieg, and Handel. Ten of the favored European Composers giants of their hemisphere and good tenure to have contributed these marvelous discover of music and much to learn in the field of sound. Beautiful piece for Italy as the future of their best appearing from the past, am grateful for that. Cheers!
Haydn and Edvard Grieg may interchange on this list.
I smiled throughout the whole song, it's so lively and playful! :D
yeah its lyrics are so beautiful
Why does this sound like Hungarian rhapsody no. 2
Ludwig Van Beethoven I see xD
Ludwig Van Beethoven But I thought your couldn't hear wtf?
Liszt=Big Hands Rachmaninov=Big Hands That's why
OOF
Because the guy that composed the arrangement, Gryaznov, isn’t a real composer
can u make all chopin's etude??
I have subscribed to your you-tube web site. Quite simply....The musical performances you present are superb......Will
Wonderful and, by the looks, challenging piece but... Can somebody explain me the connection between Italy and polka?Whatever Rachmaninoff was thinking when naming the composition??
Barnacle Boy bach italian concerto
the last last part was really sweet and funny
Rachmaninoff: Well I've paid for all the keys, I'm going to use all the keys.
@@ms1500 almost every classical pianist did the same for every piece
Great
Oh my god! I haven´t got more to say!
I want to just play the first measures (the easy part) it sounds so nice
at beginning it sounds like it can be used in harry potter
Rohit Baidya or Corpse Party or just horror/mysterious movies/animes in general
Rue AK Yeah. Have you watched corpse party??
Rohit Baidya who hasn't.
Rue AK you're right
Can you do one from "interstellar- Cornfield chase"
I wouldn't be surprised if this was actually written by Liszt...
Sachin Sahay this isn't lizt though sadly
It sounds like 2 pianists are playing at the same time.
I tell you guys, ten fingers cannot do something like this.
Liszt is way easier :)
Guess you've never seen Rondo fatastique
Ivan Ovchinnikov Liszt is way way harder than this. La Campanella, Rondo Fantastique, Mazeppa, and maybe Hungarian rhapsody no 6
Me on the beginning: well pretty easy & sounds good, i might play it
Me through the middle part: ok next time
Friend: Ahhh don't worry this arrangment is easy
The Arrangment:
At the beginning I imagine this being played on a music box sitting on a table in a dark room
I am looking for a piece with similar chords and melody, any suggestions (i mean the style of the almost wrong chords that sound amazing toghether)?
Rachmaninoff sonata no 2 movement 3
@@alexanfadel eeh ok maybe
Quite late, and you may probably already know it and, well, it's quite different, but Chopin's Wrong Note's Etude conveys that weird feeling of error of which nature underlines something beautiful yet eerie.
Que Alegre e bem expressivo. Nem parece Rachmaninoff!!!!
Luis Felipe
Estoy de acuerdo. Suena más como Chopin o a la mejor Liszt
Fun fact: Did you know that Rachmaninoff was 33 when he moved to Italy and composed this? Here is the link to his original composition: ruclips.net/video/n9cJZZtlUbo/видео.html

awesome video! one question, can you make another video of these piece, but with two different colors for both hands? :) it would be amazing! :)
if you can't figure that out on your own then this song is definitely not for you
Ping Pong Cup Shots ok? I was asking something, learn to be respectful, and excuse me, who are you to tell me I can't handle this piece?
Blue Brick Studios boo hoo, you're offended on the internet.
Ping Pong Cup Shots wow really im sooooo offended, I thought you could be a little bit more respectful and mature, but its ok :) this conversation is over.
+Ping Pong Cup Shots nobody actually uses this to learn pieces. Can you imagine how slow a process it would be? People use this to find music they like, and use the sheet music. Perhaps he wants both hands to see if it too hard for him.
No split tracks for hands?
I'll have to play this tutorial again. I didn't learn all the notes the first time.
Just to let everyone know - Rachmaninov did not compose that. This is not Gryaznov’s performance but a transcription of original Rachmaninov’s polka which is completely different and only the theme is same.
Omg i've this piece in the competition 😫😖
