Wow! Thank you, that's probably the best compliment I could possibly get, I really appreciate you taking the time to comment and subscribe. Just curious, what is it about the content that you enjoy?
@@skipatrollife-southernutah7805 Honestly, it's your personality every time you head in to patrol. It's overall just feel-good content and your attitude is just infectious! :) I have always wanted to try skiing, but am also just too scared. So it's also just fun to watch!
@@koziefox Well thank you, I've just always thought of myself as a giant goofball.😃 I appreciate your kind words. These videos are definitely a labor of love for me, I realize that there might come a time when I am no longer on Ski Patrol and it's nice to be able to have this as a video journal. If you ever do decide to go skiing (of course I highly recommend it) make sure to get a half day or so of professional instruction. You'll be safer and most importantly you'll have much more fun. Feel free to keep commenting, it makes it all worth it to me.
Hah, yeah. In Marine Corps boot camp the Drill Instructors sometimes would call me Giggles, I sincerely found so much of what was going on to be hilarious. Needless to say I did a lot of extra pushups and flutter kicks because I thought everything was so funny.
Not too much of a story, that airplane is remote control and flies beautifully, I also have a few other makes/models of WW2 airplanes. The Corsair is special because my Grandpa fought in the south Pacific during WW2 and no doubt dealt with the Corsair from time to time. The wreath is from a Harvest shindig back in October, it reminds me of my family and a great day with them. Plus it adds a little pizzazz to my truck.
Sorry I didn't see your comment earlier, it is a Dakine back pack with an air bladder in it for avalanches. I don't normally run the air bladder. We added the Ski Patrol crosses.
It is a Team Wendy Search and Rescue helmet, this particular model is made specifically for use in the snow/cold environments. I really like it, that being said it did take me awhile to get the fit and padding right. Let me know if you have any other questions.
@@jameswest8280 Yep, I have experienced east coast snow in the past and the moisture content can be much higher than the snow we get out here. What that does is makes it heavier and harder to move around compared to what we typically receive. The lighter snow is generally considered to be more fun.
Shout out to UDOT they do a great job. I think in the last few years I’ve had to use the 4 FWD once getting up to Brian Head, and once to Eagle Point. See you in a couple weeks!
Heck yeah, they are awesome. There was a time when the 143 would be quite scary at certain points during the season but they have really stepped it up.
I have NO idea how I wound up on this side of RUclips. I don't even ski. But I'm lovin' the content so you've got a new subscriber out of me. 😂

legendary. I'm getting into the industry from ground zero but yet I am going full speed at it.
@@nathanyellll Awesome, that's the way to do it. I started at Brian Head as Guest Services, it was a fun job.
Love the Corsair
Me too man, I feel like it's one of most beautiful fighters ever produced.
It definitely is
dudes giggles make me giggle, this would be a sick job giggler

I have a feeling there is a story behind having a Corsair in a bed of flowers on the dash.

Cute cat and dog
Thank you! We love them.
What kind of backpack is that?

What helmet do you wear?

I'm not a skier, but I hear Utah snow is fantastic.

@@skipatrollife-southernutah7805 I know a couple in their 90s that still ski, they look and act like they are in their 50s, it's not fair. LOL
