All these type videos have become cooking videos!

I used to watch all of Ryan Twomey’s vanlife videos but it did just turn primarily cooking focused, which isn’t bad, just isn’t my favorite thing to watch

Does your Dickinson propane heater do a good job of heating your space? We are thinking of going this route for our van build.

It does a decent job, it takes longer than our diesel heater to heat up the camper. Even on the highest setting, the waist down area of our camper will be noticeably colder if just running the Dickinson heater. The diesel heater is definitely a dryer heat, which we prefer for drying out clothes. We really like having both in our camper. The Dickinson is reliable and nice to look at, but the diesel heater is just more effective. Our diesel heater was $110 on Amazon. I think for unit and components to install the Dickinson it would be $1,000-$1,500. We also like how we can quickly fill up our diesel heater tank when at the gas station.

Curious why you didn’t turn on the propane fireplace as well at the beginning. Would that warm up the place quicker with both?

I know I had them both running at some point, it was because I wanted to do a test to see how long it would take just the diesel heater to heat the place up. I made a RUclips Short about it.

Where do you keep your skis?

In a ski bag in the back seat area of the truck, mine are just short enough to fit. For cross country skis we hang them up in a bag in the camper on the metal ceiling brackets.

What’s with the helmet? You’re skiing all green and blue trails. Do yourself a favor and loose the helmet.

I just came across your channel tonight! Watched a few videos! Enjoying your channel. The only thing I’m not enjoying is…you are muffled a lot and can’t hear you very well a lot. I don’t know if your microphone is to far away? But am following you now. Be safe out there!🤓

Thank you for watching! I know, I need to work on that. I just got some wireless microphones to start using. Up until now, I’ve just been using my phone. I also edit on my phone and there’s no good way to increase the volume of the whole video, just by clip, I need to start using a new editing software.
