  • Crochet lace edging easy pattern to follow 4 row repeat. I have deciphered the pattern form an old pillowcase which has stood the test of time very well. Hope you enjoy and can use this in other types of yarn and to edge any of your creations.

🍃🌷Hello, I can’t wait to start this one…so beautiful. I’m happy you added the printed instructions at the end, it does help. I love your lace edgings and put them on everything! Hand towels, pillowcases, sheets, etc. and I especially like making them for friends. Your comforting voice makes it all the more enjoyable. Thank you ♥️🍃

Leaving a comment not only so I can find this video again later, but also because this was broken down in an extremely thorough and helpful way. Often I find with crocheting videos the craftsperson works so fast and with their hands obscuring their hook that it's difficult to see how they do certain stitches, but this was paced well and explained in a way that made it far less daunting than it looked. I've really only ever done scarves and amigurumi for the most part, so being able to walk away from this video with something so beautiful to add to my work is very exciting! Love your whole channel!

I have used the pattern for an edge on a doily and also a table cloth. It’s looks beautiful. I used crochet cotton in peal white and beaded it with pearls. I love the fact that the pattern is so old. Thank you so much for the tutorial.

Bobby pins work better than some stitch markers because they’re coated and don’t snag on thread or yarn and are easier to use than some😁

Thanks for this wonderful demo butncan I just say, regardng the first part where you are trying to show the lace , that viewers can see things better when they are still and dont have fingers in front of them

🍃Oh, one more thing! I’m thinking of doing a contrasting color around the bottom, which this pattern seems perfect for…I even thought I saw a faint rose color around the edge of yours (unless I’m seeing things!). ♥️🍃

Thank you for your lovely comments. I am so pleased to hear you are also using the edgings for gifts for friends etc 🤗. Yes, you are right there is a different colour along the edge....it is a varigated cotton...I am not sure if this is still manufactured.

I drew a little diagram and then wrote out the pattern. Not sure how to post the pattern but I could email it to you. My email is in the About me section.
