I believe your working on step 4 of daily living each day, it's being aware of them, and work to change character defects. I'm continually working on Step 4.

Where do I start my fourth step? From childhood to present or present back to childhood?
It doesn't matter as long as you are thorough.
No. I attend AA, but will not work the steps. My so called sponcer has proved to be untrustworthy.
You don't have to use a sponsor, you may choose a therapist or clergyperson.
So get a different one? Pretty simple.
