    Just installed these on my 07 corolla S, couldn't be happier. I soaked mine in penetrating oil about a week in advance and had no issues with getting the VERY worn rubber bushings out. Great guide, great mod reccomendation, 10/10 keep up the incredible work.

      Glad it was easier for you!! Mine were completely rust welded to the pins... What a pain!! Happy to help 😊.

    Thank you !!!!! So much !! You really explain how to install it and how the part goes in with grease also. I was going crazy looking videos and never explain how the bushing is installed 😱💪🏻 and thanks!!!

    You are really great at making instructional videos. I wish you had more.
    You had Mass Air Flow Sensor cleaner pictured, but did not mention it in your narration.

      Thanks Michael! I would make more but I only film them when I have free time lol!
      Good catch...... I ran out of brake cleaner so I used MAFS cleaner instead. Should have mentioned it in the voiceover. Thanks for pointing it out 👍.

      Oh no prob. I just figured I should mention it.
      Btw, I have a 2008 Corolla, and have been experiencing some cryptic starting issues. I replaced my fuel pump and fuel filter. I noticed the old fuel filter, which was a sock like little arm, was covered in sand like grit.
      My car was fine for about a month, and the problem returned. There is plenty enough pressure in the fuel system, and it is not the starter.
      I suspect there is sediment in my gas tank, and it has clogged my new fuel filter sock.
      It appears that my only solution is to drop the gas tank, and clean out all the sediment and replace/clean my fuel filter.
      Any advice?

    • @DIYTillIDie
      @DIYTillIDie  2 года назад

      @@michaelkiese7794 yeah it seems like that might be the best bet..... How is the condition of the tank? Does it seem to be rust particles in the tank? Might be a bigger problem than just a flush.

    • @michaelkiese7794
      @michaelkiese7794 2 года назад

      @@DIYTillIDie I don’t think there are rust particles in the tank. When I replaced the fuel pump in January 2022, the inside of the gas tank looked fine.
      I usually take my car to Midas when I don’t want to DIY, or the job is bigger than I can do myself. Being a veteran, I move a lot and midas keeps a national record.
      The guys at my local midas could never duplicate my problem. It always started up fine for them, and there was plenty of fuel pressure.
      The starter cranks, and it cant be a faulty gas cap because there is good pressure. So the only thing left is a dirty fuel tank.
      I was thinking about going back into the backseat and taking out the fuel pump module and replacing that fuel filter which really is just a little sock like arm thing, but I can’t buy just that little part, even from my Toyota dealership. So maybe I’ll take out the current replaced fuel filter and try to flush it out and remove any grit if it exists.

    Bearing with the same size and hole as the brass bushing is even cheaper and much smoother.

    Great vid! Definitely something I might look into on my 08 Corolla S! However, I’m coming up on 180k and think my clutch is starting to go out, so I’ll be saving up and getting that replaced before anything else 🤕
