Hey will look into the Rzr corolla shifter. My friend in the Canary Islands makes them for our cars. Best mod on my car yet

I'll look into it! I actually ordered a MWR short shifter pretty recently, but maybe in the future I'll see if I can get my hands on an RZR!

the shift boot should come right out. i'm not sure why yours is like that. the next item should be "shift cable bushings". imo, they made more of a difference than the base bushings.

I wonder if the previous owner glued it on or something, I'll look into it. I was planning on installing the cable bushings in this video, but the old ones are rusted on and I don't have the tools to remove them at the moment.

Hey I know this is a different corolla and totally off topic. But I semi recently got a corolla and have been doing a hand full of mods for handling and anesthetics and your videos on the old corolla have been alot of help. And I've been considering upgrading my sway bars but on your sway bar video you didn't drive it afterwards because of the sub frame issues you had. And I was just wondering how that worked out. Did it make a noticeable difference? Is it worth the pain of lowering the sub frame and all that? I did new wheels and tires and will soon do coils but do you think sway bars should be on that list as well? Thanks

All comments and questions welcome! I felt the car had tighter handling, but the difference will be less noticable with coilovers since the higher spring rate reduces body roll more than any other suspension mod. Whether or not you want to go through with sway bars depends on what you want to use the car for. If it's just a street build that sees spirited driving, I wouldn't worry too much about at least the front bar. The rear sway bar is easy, so no worries there. If you really want to get the most cornering ability as possible then the front sway bar will be worth the effort, especially if it sees many track sessions, but otherwise I wouldn't bother. Most likely not going to upgrade the sway bars on my XRS at least for a while, and when I do it'll mainly be to make a better sway bar install video lol. Thanks for the comment!

Keeping both of them in CO at least until I'm finished with school. After that, they'll end up wherever I end up lol
