A quick and easy 'how-to' guide on removing the BMW F series Sport and M model steering wheels. This may be to upgrade any item or just for a procedure of your choice.
We go over disconnecting the battery, removing the airbag, removing the connectors and taking the steering wheel out of the car.
We then go into removing the airbag bracket, MFSW controls and the paddle shifters.
We show how to wire up the LED Racepack display.
Re-installing is the opposite of the un-install.

Fun fact. The air bag isn’t there to stop you hitting the steering wheel. It’s to limit neck movement during a crash. Same idea as head rests, they are to stop neck movement during a rear end impact

Great video, will be hopefully swapping my wheel out on my F30, where did you get the led display wheel and how does it pick up the revs? From the video just looks like you connect power to it?

Revs on red mark don’t really match with the dashboard…can it be calibrated?

Yeah boi. You can set your own redline limit in the settings!
