The muscle did a "build" on his own time and then sold it only to be exposed by the now new builder that fixing it. Turned out the "build" was a complete rusty shitbox that was just painted yet sold for a good amount

Props to both guys for their driving skills. Not many people, with literally no prior experience could hop in a 7 second car and launch it without lifting at the hit.

my second car at the track was a 1969 Corvette originally setup for 1/8 mile racing. I ran a 11.90 in the 1/4 with a 4 speed when my prior best time was 14.95 in an Auto. 3 gear changes and NO trans brake. Ruby is an easy car to drive and it happens to be super fast. Staging Ruby is the hardest part. The fact people with zero fast 1/4 times drove Ruby and got low 8's earlier says how easy she is to drive.

Pilot-in-command *typically* sits on the right in the helo/rotorwings...so I'm guessing the guy that got out in the blue shirt was piloting. Not a hard/fast rule, but very typical. Does look like he's got his rotor license, though.

I grew up with a big field in the back we built a cool high speed gocart track and had a blast. Then we would take dads old beater out back. And drift the track. Three on the tree and all. All kids should experience that growing up. Me and my two brothers worked in my dad's full auto repair shop from knee high till out of school and it's still going today. East of Port St Lucie. In Jensen Beach. Drag raced, raced 5.0 hydroplane that took second place in world finals in Hampton VA. One year. Been wrenches our whole life. I advise all parents to get their kids involved in some type of hands on build and compete racing. It will teach them to use their hands and mind in a successful and positive light for their entire lives. Create some of the greatest memories to boot.

All of the yt folks do, but the car racing youtubers have a lack of drama that not a lot of yt communities have. Sure they have it. But seems like less. (I say racing to exclude the likes of DDE, stradman, etc. they’re all bitchy little girls too)
