    Hey Omar, great video man. Thank you
    I have an idea, can you make a video talking about your experience at the track? What to expect, how much track time do you get? Is it an all day event? Do you bring your own lunch or do they sell food at the track? Do they sell gas at the track or would you need to leave and come back? I know each track may be different but from your experience what you’ve experienced. Thanks man.

      Thanks bro! Sure thing, i'll definitely make a video related to that, and make it super informative

    YES! PFC08. Was recommended to me, and has been an awesome pairing with the motul 600. I’ve ran a few days at Laguna, which others claim is a heavy braking track and have had 0 issues. Pricey, but that’s why they work so well.

      That's great to hear! Yea that will probably be my next go-to once I run these pads through

    When I’m at Hockenhiem Ring I put my steering in comfort, it wear out your arms in Sport+. Nurburgring I put it in Sport+, doesn’t tire out my arms because the track is easier on braking and more time before turns. I use PowerStop Z26s... way better than Stock pads and zero brake dust.

    • @SimplyCarThings
      @SimplyCarThings  3 года назад

      I need to look into those pads man thanks for the tip! Comfort steering is definitely what im going to be using from now on. I ran it at the end of the day and it felt so much better on my arms. Sport+ steering feels unnecessarily heavy lol

    For super grippy track tires my friends dad races champ car e30 with randy pobst and they both run Federal SS595s and they grip like crazy and super cheap too, tread wear is like 180 I think

    I first watched your KW V3 install video and now wanted to see performance review. From what I read you should be on completely different rebound and compression settings. Softest setting is not meant to be run on the track. KW has street and track configurations set up for particular cars. Definitely look into that

    I’d say the biggest issue is tire compound. MDM is going off like crazy. Also that’s probably why you may have felt the pads overheating. Turn that ish off my dude

    • @SimplyCarThings
      @SimplyCarThings  3 года назад

      I agree with you man, but i'm just so hesitant to disable MDM fully. I still feel like I need more experience before I disable all the driver aids.

    • @redrex91
      @redrex91 3 года назад

      Agreed 💯%, MDM is more of a hindrance than a drivers aid at the track. I never take it off on the streets though. Really enjoyed the video and glad to see how careful you were at that first lap, not rushing it (while not being slow either) or being irresponsible. Always enjoy your vids about the M4, keep them going. 👍🏽👍🏽

    due to hard bumps on the track?

    • @SimplyCarThings

    How did your built M235i compare to your old M4 and current M4? I'm considering an M2C (due to size of chassis) or an M4 and wanted to see your thoughts on it. Did you consider a V8 (German or not) before buying a Bimmer? I'm also enticed by a C7 do to its track capabilities.

    • @SimplyCarThings
      @SimplyCarThings  3 года назад +1

      The C7 is an extremely good car for the track with a few proper mods. I just love BMW's for their looks, daily drivability, and performance. The S55 engine makes the car so fast too. The M235i was really fun on the street, but the M4 shines on the track in my opinion it feels more dialed in. But both can be really fast in the hands of a good driver and with some mods
