As a preteen our next door neighbor lady was trying to groom me a 12 yr old. My parents did not catch on but I did. It was the creepiest experience of my life. Even though she never got anywhere with me, I still felt guilty and kept it to myself until one day recently I told my mother that I am sure of what this neighbor lady was trying to do with me. My ex was innapropriate with teenage girls. There were complaints from girls he coached and taught gym to. This was brought out when he tried to take our daughters as revenge for my leaving the marriage. He fought for sole custody common abusers do this. Even though he was abusive he got sole custody i was falsley accused of accusing him parental alienatin. They totally missed it. Totally. So our daughters were more abused and now motherless. I remembered the the video camera in her room, I moved it and Dick told me she was learning to use it, I knew something was up, but we were going to a company dinner and my daughter was babysitting. I filed a police report in 2014. But too many years had passed to do something. There are many days I can't even bring myself to get out of bed.

I am a male victim, i live and breath everyday the symptoms it has caused me. My memories were suppressed. I would take this with a grain of salt. He has said some of my personality traits, so by his limited knowledge, that means I am a sexual predator. Wow that is so far from the truth. If i caught a predator in action, what I would be capable of scares me very badly. No matter how much study a health professional has, they CAN'T UNDERSTAND unless they have been through it themselves. That is why it took me so long to heal. Ever phyc doctor i went to gave me a new label from Bipolar to boarderline. every tablet made me much worse. Educating yourself is the key. Strange how other victims of abuse were saying the same things/Symptoms that I was feeling. Find a doctor who specializes in sexual abuse, who has been through it themselves. That is where it starts.
Adam Saidman no it’s ok Adam I also have major ptsd from severe child abuse and would say he also described some of my own traits and I am far from a child predator also. These are just some of the traits predators have and some of what they use, the big difference between a predator and non predator who has been abused in their past or not is the ability to show empathy and not want to inflict that trauma or pain onto another person or child. I would say all victims of abuse at some stage have an inner fear of becoming like the abuser, but I would put that down to the inner rage from the abuse and feeling messed up mentally by the psychological damage left. This doesn’t mean you will ever be anything like a predator or abuser. Especially if you are very aware of your own issues or ptsd. So true though must have the best therapists or psychologists to help you heal. And believe in what is good, even faith in God. All the best for your future healing.

We as children can be made aware of “ stranger danger “ and or made aware of “ good touch , bad touch “ and yet we still don’t tell. We just don’t understand if it was an “ accident “ or if it was a “ one off”. It’s hard to explain but we as children can decipher.
As a child I was fortunate that I never had this happen. But I remember years ago at a skating rink there was an old man we knew who always went there. My mother never trusted him. She didn't like him. He asked me to couple skate a lot, and one time he kissed me right on the lips. Now that I'm older I'm not surprised she didn't trust him. I think the kiss was a possible red flag. My mother limited my contact with him. I don't know if he really was a predator, but that one incident was a red flag I think.

Something about them going to skating rinks or places young children frequent is an MO. I used to teach grade school kids and the co-owner of the rink (a man about 60), approached me and another teacher to ask if one of the little girls skating was one of our daughters. When we said that we were her teachers thinking she'd done something she wasn't supposed to, he gave us a ticket so she could go skating free for life. Just her. He kept insisting we make sure we gave the ticket to her or had her go back with her mother so he could give her the great news. This made us both so suspicious and we left immediately since he kept looking at this one girl with a creepy smile. This little girl had been abused before, and unfortunately this somehow made her a target everywhere we'd go. It's like these pedos could sense something in her that made her vulnerable. We have to always be vigilant.

If I may interject here by saying that you should consider going to your closest police department and let them know you want to file a report on the guy. It would benefit any prosecuters further investigation. If there is a record on him of any kind and he were caught with child porn or known to have carried out pedophile abuse it helps build a prosecutors case in court helping to send him to prison. I have some people in my life that have no empathic ability and harass me in all ways, until i feel very depressed... i feel ashamed of it since some are related to me. I get it I get what you're trying to say and as a woman I know for sure I have met women throughout my life mostly in my high school years but at least one in my adult years, who will lie about these types of things... All I can say about these things is I highly advise you don't take that small probably less than 1% of liars as fact when it comes to all people you meet and express that they've been through sexual trauma. What does having problems with social isolation or long term relationship problems have to do with being a sex offender. I know lots of non sex offenders that socially isolate themselves and had long term relationship problems not because of cheating because of communication problems.
In middle school I had a teacher ( Ms. Cass ) , and she would treat me special. Always took me to the back and gave me milk and cookies. They were delicious and I enjoyed every minute of it. But now I think about it and it seems odd. She was an older white lady. Not very attractive. Not sure what was up w that.
Doctors have loads of opportunity to touch children pretending its for medical reasons, one day at school i was about nine years old I became very upset sobbing uncontrollably because my home life was incredibly miserable, a Doctor was called and he saw me alone and for no reason I can understand he felt my testicles , I don’t know but it seems weird.

There are men in their 40ies and fifties who look at the age of older christian women and very quickly getnher trust. The one who got me came to my place and within 5 minutes of me opening the door to him, hewas violently rapeing me. He did real physical harm banging my body causing bruises and pain that took 2weeks to get over
My landlord does these to adult women. He just cannot handle we don't want it. Within a week of living there he committed rape by unlocking the door and forcing it (male anatomy) and claimed I moaned in my sleep so I was a bitch in heat and needed. I slap his hands away all the time and force him off me when he kisses me. Shelters are full and there is nowhere to move. He also slaps or spanks me and says that I have no right to tell him no. He is so normal sometimes and seems normal enough I feel gaslighted. I avoid and he does all of these.
The way you described this and the way you talk is totally off. You're completely engaged in this situation or you are instigating it. As a preteen our next door neighbor lady was trying to groom me a 12 yr old. My parents did not catch on but I did. It was the creepiest experience of my life. Even though she never got anywhere with me, I still felt guilty and kept it to myself until one day recently I told my mother that I am sure of what this neighbor lady was trying to do with me.

I am a male victim, i live and breath everyday the symptoms it has caused me. My memories were suppressed. I would take this with a grain of salt. He has said some of my personality traits, so by his limited knowledge, that means I am a sexual predator. Wow that is so far from the truth. Strange how other victims of abuse were saying the same things/Symptoms that I was feeling. Find a doctor who specializes in sexual abuse, who has been through it themselves. That is where it starts.

These are just some of the traits predators have and some of what they use, the big difference between a predator and non predator who has been abused in their past or not is the ability to show empathy and not want to inflict that trauma or pain onto another person or child. I would say all victims of abuse at some stage have an inner fear of becoming like the abuser, but I would put that down to the inner rage from the abuse and feeling messed up mentally by the psychological damage left. This doesn’t mean you will ever be anything like a predator or abuser. Especially if you are very aware of your own issues or ptsd. So true though must have the best therapists or psychologists to help you heal. And believe in what is good, even faith in God. All the best for your future healing.

As a child I was fortunate that I never had this happen. But I remember years ago at a skating rink there was an old man we knew who always went there. My mother never trusted him. She didn't like him. He asked me to couple skate a lot, and one time he kissed me right on the lips. Now that I'm older I'm not surprised she didn't trust him. I think the kiss was a possible red flag. My mother limited my contact with him. I don't know if he really was a predator, but that one incident was a red flag I think.

I used to teach grade school kids and the co-owner of the rink (a man about 60), approached me and another teacher to ask if one of the little girls skating was one of our daughters. When we said that we were her teachers thinking she'd done something she wasn't supposed to, he gave us a ticket so she could go skating free for life. Just her. He kept insisting we make sure we gave the ticket to her or had her go back with her mother so he could give her the great news. This made us both so suspicious and we left immediately since he kept looking at this one girl with a creepy smile. Gae Bren by no means is this always the case but often it’s simply bc they were abused. Especially being abused as a young child before they understood anything that was happening, it can become just a habit or something they do and need to feel that they think is a part of them naturally but it’s obviously not.

If I may interject here by saying that you should consider going to your closest police department and let them know you want to file a report on the guy. It would benefit any prosecuters further investigation. If there is a record on him of any kind and he were caught with child porn or known to have carried out pedophile abuse it helps build a prosecutors case in court helping to send him to prison. My landlord does these to adult women. He just cannot handle we don't want it. I slap his hands away all the time and force him off me when he kisses me. Shelters are full and there is nowhere to move. He also slaps or spanks me and says that I have no right to tell him no.
