i was listening Chopin always until i found Ravel so i changed to orchestral pieces, but i got bored so i came back to chopin, its nice to come back to piano solos. Reminds me of my dear girl.

Stunningly evocative music. It has the ability to be both melancholic and joyous at the same time. There,s nothing that can transport you into such realms of rapture and remorse as Chopin !
This is perfect, thank you for share! Chopin was amazing, deep, awesome, brilliant!!! Ludwig Van Beethoven, Frederic Chopin and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the greatest names in music of all time no doubt about that!

I’ve been lucky enough to have seen Earl Wild perform live in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam to celebrate his 90th birthday. He’s a legend. Started out playing for radio stations, always live, and kept on playing for audiences until a very high age. He made many compositions and variations on existing pieces. Iirc, he was taught by one of Liszt’s own pupils.
Gosh! It works as I'm almost Eighty Years Old, and so, I tried it and...it put me to sleep within minutes! Thanks for the most relaxing of Chopin music!
Who can think of relaxation with such intensely poignant music?. When I play such music to friends and they tell mee it was 'relaxing' this ruins the whole experience for me.
Just this morning, I was out Chopin some wood when, Fuge me, if I didn't get a scare when my axe Broque and the Handel went flying. Phew, I was really taken a-Bach. If that had hit me in the head, that Blow would have really done me in. So I went inside to relax, and here I am. 🎹🎵🎶
Oh, yes! So beautiful and an ingredient in my soul! Nothing gives me the same thrill in my body as doing my barre to his works. The nocturnes are so emotional! Each expresses love in a different form. I have akways felt a connection to Chopin's works!
A Girl with a Watering Can is an 1876 Impressionist painting by Pierre-Auguste Renoir. The work was apparently painted in Claude Monet's famous garden at Argenteuil, and may portray one of the girls in Renoir's neighborhood in a blue dress holding a watering can. The painting is exhibited at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C
Sometimes an interpreter finds his own order. I think it is fascinating to hear a group of pieces played in another order than the normal. This nocturnes were not composed as a cycle but as individual pieces. Another example is the Dinu Lippati recording of the waltzes . When I listen to piano pieces by Chopin I love mixing the program .

give up sartre ....and just listen.
Not sure it s the best combination. Chopin would have not had had anything in common with Sartre. Try Proust instead, or romantic writers.
Love Chopin, the Nocturnes are definitely my favourite!

I would say it’s a tie lol

What makes you cry more...choppin' onions or Chopin nocturnes?
Fred for sure. Onions never make me tear up, I can list about five pieces in this playlist that make me choke up everytime I hear them though lol
He don't makes me cry, he makes me feel a great sense of peaceful and comfort
