Man, landfall decks have never quite scratched the itch that my combat-focused brain needs scratched.... but this? I think this is right up my alley

I want to make a decklist for EDH of the commanders from MH3 and this guy is just better than the face precon. Landfall is fun but I’m also a battlecruiser guy so I get it. Honestly if you want a more combat focused deck, check out my desert decklist I made for outlaws of thunder junction. It’s maya but honestly I think it’s pretty solid too

Missed the opportunity to use some big pump spells like collisification on jyoti then giving all other land creatures +22 to swing in with for crazy plays
Another missed opportunity is using spells like vitalize or permanents like retreat to coralhelm to get lots of mana out of the creature lands

Good includes! I focused on really just ways to keep animating lands and replaying them from the grave. My fear with going in on the pump plan is people will just kill him in response to the pump trigger if he is too big. Kinda mind games but if the team gets +2/+2, he’ll stick around but if he gets much bigger than that he’ll just die right away

@@poppmagic yea I could see people killing it in response to a buff

@@martinlefebvre963 its hard to evaluate cards on the "dies to removal" argument but when your command would make your board huge, its just more incentive to do so

Im loving these ideas, might have to take some inspiration for my build, i like that nobody is talking avout this commander so hopefully can surprise my pod. I do like the face commander aswell but tbf, if it's simic I'll probably build it

The face commander is really neat but she is required to be on the field for the deck to even slightly function. Jyoti is nice because it’s just simic lands that the end of the day

Stoked to hear! Honestly I prefer this dude to the new face commander for the simic deck. What do you think?

Great video. I have a new taty land deck already. Jyoti is better commander option imo

To be fair it depends what tatyova. But beyond that I think he is more interesting than just play lands, ramp out, big spell, GG. At least there’s some fun work to put in it

Thanks for the video. Don't see much love for Jyoti for some reason.

He’s good. I think people see everything counters and get excited about tribal tribal and then he just gets overlooked

I think it's because of the other simic commander that came out this set
      The bird goes crazy

Dude the bird is like the hottest commander rn. He is just super simic. What else do you want than draw and ramp?
