Good prep... Couple more ideas... engage blower before start, check bilge and engine room before and/or after starting to check for leaks, belts, obstructions, noises etc. then gauges, and you are off... Hey I wanted to see you maneuver with the tender tied up :) Hope you had a good Labor Day weekend.
Definitely-they’re on my list of course! I always make sure to clear the engine room after every project so it’s ready to go on short notice! The maneuvering with the dinghy was no problem! It’s mighty light so it’s like there was nothing there as long as I kept the line clear of my prop!
@@chasingthevoyage tough to say... mostly dependent on weather haha. with good friends and food I'd be happy on this boat for a week or more at a time. gonna keep cruising SoCal, maybe get into Mexico eventually
I like how well thought out and prepared you are. I also like the fact you are realistic about life.
Thanks a bunch! My hope with the channel is to keep it pretty normal and “real life”!
@@crown_city_trawlers That’s happening 👍

Sure did-escaping the heat!
Those are some great pre-checks to do before you get underway.
Thanks!
Can you do a vid on overall costs?
I posted one last week! Check it out in the “captains corner” playlist on my page
I really like the intro! curious how much life at sea do you think you can handle? lol Hope your weekend was full of fun and adventures.
What do you mean by how much life at sea? Like how long could I stay offshore?
@@crown_city_trawlers yea how long at sea before you wanna see land. Also any plans to travel to places with your home/boat yet.
