@@WanderingKnapps be careful. The storms get worse as the summer moves on. Exuma sound get very rough. Enjoy but be safe. I have spent years there and been to all the islands per say even turks and CA...like I said watch the storms in the afternoons, winds can jump to 60 mph and it will get very rough very quickly when you get to the bahamas that face the open Atlantic.

Your Garmin unit on the flybridge looks like a relatively new vintage. I have newer Garmins and they are able to "generate" a wifi network that I can connect to with my Android phone or iPad. Once connected, I can use the Garmin Active Captain app to view and control the MFD's, autopilot, etc. via my phone or iPad from anywhere on the boat. My point is, if you have that capability, you might be able to use it from your lower helm in a yucky weather situation. Safe travels / Have Fun!

Do you ever go to mexico? Since you cross the gulf. Also, where are you from at begining of videos it shows a map from Idaho? You visisted up here by us once, we live between Portland and Seattle. Also, what do you think about taking a yatch, about same as yours from Pacific NW around through Panama Canal to get to FL. We are looking for a boat and see many near us that would cost too much to move. We will not have a 2nd home we will be on a boat 3-5 years min. with a 7 year old boy. Trying to find a boat near you for sale, but thinking of possibilities. TY LOVE your videos, will share!
