Hi Lisa, you mentioned this is in your top 3 blurring foundations. Could you do a video showing your top 3 blurring foundations? That would be awesome!
Does anyone have large pores across cheeks, esp on nose but w/ combo-dry skin? I mostly see pores w/ oily skin…😩I get some redness, mild rosacea related to major temp changes, the occasional zit & sebaceous filaments on nose. Otherwise, not really problematic. It’s just these huge pores I can serve dip out of that I can’t stand!
I have very dry skin and enlarged pores. The pore thing is genetic and I feel your pain. Powder foundations are out for me. Too dry looking. My constant battle is that I can’t wear the more hydrating foundations because anything radiant or glowy makes the pores look like saucers. Therefore I’m always looking for soft matte or satin matte foundations that aren’t drying. I will say one of the most pore minimizing, flattering foundations I have ever tried is the L’Oréal 24 Hr freshwear. However it has a lot of alcohol and dries out my skin so I can’t wear it that often. Might be worth trying if you haven’t though. I’ve switched to the L’Oréal true match nude hyaluronic serum foundation. It is my current holy grail. It minimizes pores, has a skin like finish, and they’ve added some moisturizing ingredients to offset the alcohol so my dry skin tolerates it a lot better. It’s also very long wearing. I do lightly powder it. I’ve tried a million foundations, high end and drug store. I’ve found nice high end ones but none that I liked better enough to justify the price tag compared to this L’Oréal one.
Lisa...I finally caved and bought the Blurring Foundation when Danessa had their 25% off sale a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to try their new powder and get their blush (which finally came back into stock) so I decided, why not, let's do this!! I bought the shade 3.5 (I'm typically your shade twin and this might be slightly light if I get much more sun but will be perfect in the fall/winter/spring). I was always hesitant because it wasn't a fav of Angie's and Tammy hasn't done a review. I went out of town right after ordering so I wasn't able to try it until today. My gosh, even on my 59 year old skin I LOVE it!!! I applied it about 3 hours after applying my morning skin care routine so I decided to apply the No. 9 facial oil about 15 minutes before application, allowing the oil to dry down quite a bit. I think that was certainly a winning combination for my mature skin (now I might have to buy Danessa's oil)!!! I used your 106 brush and pounced away. I really really like this stuff. I didn't apply enough for full coverage but I don't mind the "me parts" coming thru a bit. I think I need to go ahead and get shade 4 as well for summer. I know you had mentioned that 4 was a tiny bit dark, but workable, that's why I ordered the 3.5. I feel like I have nothing on my skin, it's is currently 100 degrees west of Houston (5pm) and I just returned from the grocery store and a few errands.....I look as fresh now as when I applied it around 11am. P.S. I love that blush too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There's some beauty influencers that look so different without makeup. Lisa, you look literally just as pretty without a speck of makeup. Thanks for the info on this foundation, sounds perfect for me.
Ok after meeting you in person and then hearing you say you were wearing this foundation I immediately clicked the link! Your skin is gorgeous! I'm so excited to try it because I have huge pores and oily skin and live in the hottest climate.
I LOVE this product! Almost nothing keeps my oils at bay, but this does! If I want a little extra coverage, I'll use concealer. Huge fan of this product!
Yes, this is great and always gets compliments on my skin when I wear it. I was wondering why there were so few people raving about it. Good to hear it isn't just me.
Hot n flashy hated that blurring foundation. So many products u never know which will work for you. You just have to try them which is so hard because there are so many . Thanks for the reviews!
It's truly hard to tell. What works for 1 may not work for others. It depends on what you do to your skin prior to application , your skin type and so forth. The only way to get an idea is to try it in the store. The closest Sephora to me is over an hour away so I have a problem there. :( I've been want to try this forever though.
I don't have any oil and very minimal pores so I don't think this is for me but for my skin, the Dior Forever is absolutely perfect. 63 with normal skin. I am so excited to hear about the brushes! I do want to pick up a couple more! Thank you for honoring the sale price. I just am so proud of you. I realize how long I've been watching you and I'm grateful you are here!
Hi Lisa, can you do an update using current products you use for the “12 Minute Every Day Makeup”? I saw it was your first video and would LOVE to see it. I often have to leave with 1/2 my face done because it takes me too long. Thanks so much for your videos, love your brushes, lipsticks and liners excellent!
Lisa-I love this DM foundation balm too! I have dry skin and just make sure to use a very hydrating primer-Danessa Myricks has a good, glowy primer in fact!! Love it❣️❣️😍😍
I have both shades 3 and 4 in this but I’ve never used it as a foundation on its own. I’ve used it as a primer under a liquid foundation and really like it that way. Will definitely try it on its own
Thank you Lisa. I have just placed my order for the 108. I know it's only 1 brush but I'm building up my brush collection slowly but surely. Thank you for honoring the discount ❤ you guys are the best
Well, I am tempted now. Lol. RUclips is definitely not easy on my pocketbook. This looks right up my alley actually. I’m trying out some other foundations right now, but I may have to go back to this. I want to try it. Thank you Lisa and you look beautiful.
I didn’t quite understand what this product was meant to be used for as well. I purchased it in a deeper shade than my skin tone and wow it is the best bronzer!!! I have hit pan already. I need to order another shade to try as foundation.
I mean this as a compliment..Its hard to go off of watching how it covers and smooths your skin.. Your skin looks like you already have foundation on..Its nearly perfect.. I love your videos and advice but its hard to really tell how well the foundation performs with your skin...
Looks beautiful. I've not heard of this foundation. No one else that I watch has reviewed it. Thank you, Lisa. I'm intrigued now. By the way, the BK 106 is my favorite foundation brush too! ❤️
I've been eyeing this foundation but haven't see a lot of reviews. This one sounds right up my alley I can't wait to try it:) I have to ask what is the lipstick you are wearing I didn't see a link for it and it is beautiful!!
I'm in a warmer part of Australia and I have Shade 3. I think its brilliant, as I can customise this and use it alone over sunscreen or use it over a tinted moisturiser/light coverage foundation to amp up the coverage and help mattify. During Winter I haven't powedered much but I will add powder thru the t zone as it warms up. I find it looks great under the eye area and I can get away without concealer on the daily. I've just hit pan after having it a few months, so I'm keen to purchase a backup.
Hi, Lisa. When using BK brushes in your videos please let use know what number they are. I liked some of the brushes you've been using and I intended to order them but couldn't tell which ones they were just by reading the description and looking at the pictures on your website. It was very frustrating not being able to order them. Adding them (in the order of appearance) to the products used in the video would also be useful.
You are gorgeous Lisa! I have oily skin and I cannot wair to try that foundatio! Thank you so much for the Tip! And I want to ask you which lipstick are you wearing ??? ❤️
Love your makeup look on this video!!!! What eyeshadows and lipstick did you use? Btw I have all your brushes and ❤ them all!!!! Will be getting this foundation!
Hi! I am of South Asian origin and I was matched as being either 4 or 5. They disappear on my skin and the Sephora employee could not distinguish between them. I think the shades accommodate a range skin tones. I will opt for 4 because we are entering autumn- winter. Thx! Meena
Oh and powder foundations, of any kind I just CANT DO! I've tried them all. Nope! I use a priming oil, then a pore filling primer, then I mix a matte foundation with a luminous/ hydrating foundation. Then powder, I put it on very lightly, use a setting spray before and after powder. You just gotta experiment and see what works for your skin. Took me a LONG TIME. but I've about got it now.
Hi Lisa! 🥰Thanks for the awesome review! I know I am late to this foundation, definitely going to try it. Can you, or have you done an entire video on this look? What lip are you wearing LOVE it!
This foundation looks great! Ok, which one would you choose: this one, Merit the minimalist complexion stick, or Jane Iredale PurePressed® Base Mineral Foundation? I want to get one for now but can’t decide. I have combo skin and over 50.
I ideally like to be matte in my t-zone but dewy everywhere else. Is that weird? I feel prettier and look less makeupy when I wear my makeup that way…💕
I don’t know if it’s the lighting, but whenever I watch videos of foundation and concealer application, the finishes look so thick - almost like I could blot them with tissue paper and soak up all the extra product. I’ve tried, for example, applying that much concealer, and it just looks so thick.
I just recently picked up the Haus Labs foundation and am seriously in love with it and my foundation collection is a bit insane ( according to my family🙄) so I don’t really NEED another one but…….this looks gorgeous on you. I also tend to like a dewy finish and stray away from matte but…..it really does look nice. Oh man lol 🙈 Thank you for sharing 💕 And I was recently watching new show on Netflix - Devil In Ohio and I could swear the daughter was using BK brushes while doing her makeup in one of the scenes!??! 🥰 Xo 🇨🇦
this is a great review Lisa. question, I have dryer mature skin and prefer lighter coverage. which did you prefer the Jones Road WTF or the Danessa Myricks? I've heard the Jones Road is really good for dryer mature. but the Danessa one seems like it could also be really good.
I was so excited! I need the blurring. And then I realized that the oil skin mention probably means that this very dry skin probably wouldn't like it. What do you think?
Is there a possible dupe for that CT cream powder makeup?! Maybe the newer L'Oréal cream powder makeup. Or the older cover girl olay cream foundation?! PS and BTW, on a prior video someone wrote that the Huda beauty loose banana powder works great, actually awesome, on top of foundation, to set your makeup, that blurrs pores and texture. It looks awesome on the skin, according to the comment. Not just as a typical brightening powder. And on top of whichever foundation you already have and like. It sounds so impressive, I am definitely interested......
I couldn’t catch the name of the SPF you put on before you started your makeup. Could you share? Looking for one that doesn’t oxidize to a peachy tone. This foundation looks and sounds like magic…thankfully, it isn’t too good to be true.
Thank you. Can’t wait to try it…but when I tap the down arrow the name isn’t there. I have to go back to the beginning of the video to try and catch it. It’s not only your posts but with all RUclips posts lately. Please what has changed? Thanks
All the reviews I see in Sephora have pictures of people with large pores, and this foundation looks horrible on them. You will need a hydrating primer. If you have no pores you are fine with this foundation. If you have dry patches, don’t even think about this product.
I have such a difficult time wearing any kind of foundation. Going through menopause so my hormones are all over the place, resulting in skin that’s more oily and pretty bad acne…at 53. 😩 Fun times! 😳 Actually it’s been pretty devastating! Wearing foundation usually makes my acne worse. Do you know of a foundation that doesn’t work against or irritate skin that tends to break out and is oily? Thank you!
I’m peri-menopausal and was having terrible acne around my chin and nose. Going on retinol has been amazing! My skin has cleared up completely. I use the lowest amount from The Agency and only use it every other day maximum because of my sensitive skin and that is still enough to keep my skin clear. It’s a subscription but I always go in and delay shipment. I only get a bottle 2 times a year and that makes it very reasonably priced. Plus there are discounts on it if you are a new subscriber. Angie at Hot and Flashy has discount code for it on her channel all the time. Even if you don’t want to use retinol, absolutely add Niacinamide to your routine. The Ordinary has it for less than $10. You don’t need to spend a lot. It helps my pores SO MUCH!
Aloha from Kauai🤙🏼Mahalo for reviewing this product💯Since I live on Hawaii I can’t wear liquid foundations because of the humidity ( My face turns into a oil slick). This is the exact product I was looking for. I definitely will be ordering this foundation along with the BK foundation brush. I will purchase the SPF too. These are all the products I need living in a tropical climate.
Nope. I have oily combo large pores, live in hot hid climate and this foundation was junk. Doesn't play well with other items in my opinion and can pick up. Huda's glowish primer is way more effective on keeping oily skin in check, perfecting skin and works well with other products.
Hi Lisa! I was on the hunt for exactly this king of foundation… still puzzled by the shades. Any reference colour on other foundations you wear for example Dior glow … I need order online and I cannot go wrong. Thanks 🙏
I was thinking of trying this. I tried the L’Oréal age perfect but when I look in a mirror up close it seems to sink into every pore. I use a Clinique pore minimizer but it doesn’t help. I guess I will go back to Joppa Minerals. At least I don’t look like a clown. I am 69 years old.
Hi Lisa, you mentioned this is in your top 3 blurring foundations. Could you do a video showing your top 3 blurring foundations? That would be awesome!

I do and it's bizarre lol

Yes, this is great and always gets compliments on my skin when I wear it. I was wondering why there were so few people raving about it. Good to hear it isn't just me.
Will be trying this foundation for my oily skin and although its cooler, it still gets humid in Georgia. Thank you Lisa!

I have shades 3 and 6. I use 6 as a contour. It’s a very natural contour, but I am loving it.
Thank you Lisa. I have just placed my order for the 108. I know it's only 1 brush but I'm building up my brush collection slowly but surely. Thank you for honoring the discount ❤ you guys are the best
Thank you Heather! I hope you enjoy your new BK Beauty brush! 💖
I'm sure I will. I have a few of your other brushes aswell. And they are exceptional
Well, I am tempted now. Lol. RUclips is definitely not easy on my pocketbook. This looks right up my alley actually. I’m trying out some other foundations right now, but I may have to go back to this. I want to try it. Thank you Lisa and you look beautiful.
I agree! Something else to buy! Oh no🤣🤣$$$$but Lisa is a great example for beauty!
I didn’t quite understand what this product was meant to be used for as well. I purchased it in a deeper shade than my skin tone and wow it is the best bronzer!!! I have hit pan already. I need to order another shade to try as foundation.

You look naturally beautiful with and without the foundation. It looks great on you!
Aww thank you!
Looks beautiful. I've not heard of this foundation. No one else that I watch has reviewed it. Thank you, Lisa. I'm intrigued now. By the way, the BK 106 is my favorite foundation brush too! ❤️
Thank you so much Jann!
It looks lovely! It doesn't look matte either. It just looks so smooth!
Gorgeous look. Would love to see how you did your eyes as well.

I have dry skin but have large pores so may have to try it. Thanks for another great recommendation 😊
Everyone loves this product. Your makeup looks stunning

@@curly_blonde_unicorn7832 yes I'm Australian. You can purchase it at Glam Raider.
@@carolynlindenmayer3577 thank you😊
Im getting addicted to your videos
I'm a Jane Iredale PurePressed Powder Foundation user, but this one has me intrigued. Hmmm....
Thanks Lisa! I don't think I've seen this one. It looks flawless on you but you always look that way! ❤️🥰
Oh that does look very nice! So very tempting. Thanks for sharing.
I'm so very thankful for you !
Hi, Lisa. When using BK brushes in your videos please let use know what number they are. I liked some of the brushes you've been using and I intended to order them but couldn't tell which ones they were just by reading the description and looking at the pictures on your website.

Ok. Your skin doesn’t need foundation. When you went into the application part of the video I thought you already had foundation on.
Your eyes are absolutely beautiful.
You are gorgeous Lisa! I have oily skin and I cannot wair to try that foundatio! Thank you so much for the Tip! And I want to ask you which lipstick are you wearing ??? ❤️
I ordered the 108 yesterday. Thank you for restocking!
I've been looking for a matte long lasting foundation that I can travel with without having to take it out at security. I'm going to try this.
Thanks for this review Lisa! This foundation sounds interesting! You look gorgeous!🥰
You haven’t done a tutorial in a long time, I would love to see one!
What eyeshadow do you have on here? Gorgeous!❤
Oh, perfect timing…just saw this on Sephora and put it in my cart to do more research…
Hey Lisa! I’ve been waiting to order from Bk beauty and I’m so excited you have those brushes back in stock! Can’t wait to use them.

Honestly, you look like you’re wearing foundation even when you’re not! Your skin is so lovely & even!☺️
Hi! I am of South Asian origin and I was matched as being either 4 or 5. They disappear on my skin and the Sephora employee could not distinguish between them. I think the shades accommodate a range skin tones. I will opt for 4 because we are entering autumn- winter. Thx! Meena

I love love this product as a primer (shade Universal), it’s really great to matify and blur pores !

Ok she added bronzer. That explains why it looks like it oxidized on her skin
Nope, had no idea about you and BK beauty!
Nope. I have oily combo large pores, live in hot hid climate and this foundation was junk. Doesn't play well with other items in my opinion and can pick up.
Huda's glowish primer is way more effective on keeping oily skin in check, perfecting skin and works well with other products.
How does this compare to your recent review of Jane Iradel, powder foundation?
Hi Lisa! I was on the hunt for exactly this king of foundation… still puzzled by the shades. Any reference colour on other foundations you wear for example Dior glow … I need order online and I cannot go wrong. Thanks 🙏
What color is cream bronzer? The foundation looks great!!
What lipstick are you wearing?
What brush did you use with your concealer. Thanks. Loved your video.
You should've used the lighter foundation shade as concealer
I was thinking of trying this. I tried the L’Oréal age perfect but when I look in a mirror up close it seems to sink into every pore. I use a Clinique pore minimizer but it doesn’t help. I guess I will go back to Joppa Minerals. At least I don’t look like a clown. I am 69 years old.
What does this look like on mature skin, does it settle in wrinkles?
