Thank you, Lisa!!! This is exactly what I needed. I watched it twice, and I will probably watch it again. Now I need to practice. Have a lovely weekend! 🫶
Lisa thanks for tips and just wanted to say how much i enjoy your brushrs!!!! My foundation always looks good because i use it everyday!!! Thank you so much!!!!
You offered helpful information and suggestions. I appreciate your detailed explanations and will adjust my application of liquid foundation using your techniques as well as products. I hope you will do a PART 2 to show us applications of powder blushes/bronzers, as well as liquid ones! I think we can all benefit from those!😊🌸
Ooo......I just discovered your channel! I am officially hooked!! This is the BEST video on primer, foundation and setting to achieve a poreless, flawless look! So happy and thank you 💕
As always, I love watching your video. You provide wonderful content and I have learned so much from you. I’m looking forward to applying these techniques to my routine tomorrow LOVE your brushes! I have almost every one of them.
I, too, have found that less is more + application technique is most important to the overall look of the makeup! Thank you for the wonderful tips and for putting the notes up on the screen too. :)
Hi Lisa! Thank you for this video, and thank you for your fabulous brushes! As I watched this video, I was reminded of one thing that would be so appreciated - could you please clip your hair back when doing makeovers? In this video, I felt somewhat distracted as you were frequently tucking your hair behind your ear, but it did not stay. So you were doing it quite often. I would love to be able to focus on your application tips, but with your hair down, we can’t even see where you have applied your contour and/or blush. Thank you for considering this! And thank you for all your tips! ❤
My concern with using the brush like that to tap foundation into the skin is with clogging my pores. Especially since I can't fully clean and disinfect my brush every day. I smooth my foundations on with my fingers then pat in with a damp beauty blender, using each sponge only once before throwing it away. That's definitely more hygienic and less likely to clog pores or lead to breakouts, but I wonder if the pore blurring effect achievable with the sponge doesn't match that achievable with the brush. Have you tried both?
Love your content and love BK beauty brushes. You introduced me to/caused me to try the Jane Iredale line. Your video with MUA Carla Taylor also caused me to try mad hippie skin care products (love their focus on conservation/sustainability). To both of you: THANK YOU!! I have always tried to have a good skin care regimen, but between the 2 product lines, my skin has never looked better!
I realize this was not about your eyes, but what did you use for eyeshadow? They are so beautiful! My daughter has green eyes and it would look wonderful on her. Thanks for the tips. I have large pores and also some orange peel skin on my chin so I could really use this information.
Hi Lisa, I wondered if you think 2.5N is still too golden as you referenced last year it didn’t match the previous formulation. In your shade twin and struggling to find the right shade in this foundation. Love your content. I’ve recently purchased 8 of your brushes and they are amazing. The best I’ve used ❤
Greetings from the UK 🇬🇧 Fab video Lisa. Can I ask what eye shadow you were wearing in the final scenes of this video AND the lipstick, and blush? They all compliment each other beautifully, and I actually exclaimed ‘wow’ when you came back on screen with the full face finished make up on. You look vibrant and fresh, and the eye shadow, lip colour, and cheeks are stunning combined together. So what are they? Many thanks ☺️
Aww thank you!! The eyes I had on the Tarte Eye liner and shadow stick in the Taupe/Black combo bit.ly/49wuQYI on lips I had on Huda Beauty liner in Pinky Brown bit.ly/3Zfehw2 and Chantecaille Lip Chic in Rosea bit.ly/49wK7IT and a clear gloss
Hi Lisa, Thank you so much for another great lesson:). Can you please tell me what you are wearing on your eyes, and/ or if you have a video on what you did? Thanks so much !
Sure thing!

Great video Lisa, very helpful! Have you seen the price increase on our beloved Alastin tinted sunscreen!? It's gone up to $76!! I could not believe it! I mean it's amazing but i don't know about $76 amazing. Thoughts?
I too am really struggling with this price increase. Sadly it seems in line with other similar products. They just sell 3oz instead of 1oz (which I would prefer) It would make me feel better spending less at a time……..
Hi Lisa, thank you for your helpful tips, I hate large pores between my eyebrows 😡 I'm planning to buy the BK Beauty n. 113 brush together with the n. 112 and wanted to ask you if the Angie Hot&Flashy Concealer brush will be available soon, it's sold out. Thank you in advance 😊
Hi! I can relate, I had a lot of texture there too! The A506 will restock in a couple of weeks. We were hoping for first week of March but it has been slightly delayed.
Great tips Lisa!🎉🎉🎉👍 i have mature fussy skin and purchased the Jane Iredale Smoothing Primer as well as the Chanel HHealthy Glow Winter in Frosty White and FBeige..love these! Thoughts? I have the Givenchy PLibte but a little nervous about application!🤣😊 Just tossed the Fenty Baked Loose Powder in Chery Blossom. The fragrance was overwhelming .(and Huda Kattan's political commentary has turned me away from the brand!). Love Urban Devay and Mac alcohol free setting Spray.
Have you noticed the Alastin price increase?when I started purchasing it, I paid $30 something because it was smaller packaging. Now they only sell 3oz. And it’s gone up to $76😱 is there anything else you could recommend?
Oh wow!!! I hadn't seen the $76 price yet! I thought I was paying in the $60 range is is still a lot. I will try and find an alternative to recommend, that is a lot
Thank you so much!!!! It’s my death sentence in makeup ~ huge!! I’ve been on this quest for the pore-less coverage. You have no idea 😮. Question why do you think cosmetic companies make primers so small? Is it $$$? Am I losing my mind when back in the day the primers were ruffly the same size as the foundation bottles? It just seems that those of us that need primers their are just gauging us at the check out stand or am I losing it?? Being too harsh? ~ thank you so much for the therapy moment everyone!!!
I really like watching this type of content, but honestly every other week you recommend different products. I’m just an average consumer and can’t keep up with buying all these products. Well you must get sponsorship… just saying
You don't have to buy every product she recommends. If you have your holy grails, just implement her content on techniques. She is giving recommendations to people who are looking for specific things.
It seems influencers recommend every product! Wait - you said the best were these 10 products three weeks ago- and now an entire new set of best products! I don’t really notice the difference in the ‘different’ make up looks- with any influencer. Just my opinion after watching several influencers over these winter months- (plus several influencers know each other- even friends ) doing collaborations- recommending each others products ( sell this influencer’s BK beauty brush line- Nikki has her own BK set and I think the Hot and Flashy influence has her set of brushes)
@@lesann1896this is her (their) job after all. It’s how she pays the bills and takes care of her kids. It’s her job to promote her brand and try different products and show them to us. Don’t take it so seriously--it’s supposed to be enjoyable 😎♥️.
She actually said you don’t have to go out and buy these particular products it’s just what she grabbed for this. Really women should encourage women not try to cut them down! If influencers upset you so much then don’t watch influencers!

Do you use good hydrating skin prep -like a nice hydrating toner? I have found that makes a big difference. I use the I’m From Rice toner and then follow with my moisturizer and SPF and it makes a big improvement. I never used to use a toner before but then life happened and I got old and drier. I can't really get behind the idea that a foundation can be great for dry and also work for oily skin, makes no sense; honestly, I'm fairly certain that I tried that L'oreal foundation and I have oily skin and it did not work for me, just sayin
I’ve struggled with using a brush - I had an Urban Decay one but I think it was too stiff. I’ve tried one that is much softer and got better results. What is your brush like?
Yes! I like a brush that has density to it but it has to be soft at the tips to blend out better. A brush that is too dense is like using a dry sponge to blend out. It just wont work as well. I love our BK Beauty 106

Thanks! That was great!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Why did you use 106 brush and not 101? If I have one option to choose in foundation brush then why one should I go for?
It really is about preference in how you like to apply. I love a little smaller brush head and I like to "buff" into skin. The 101 is our best seller and everyone loves that it is larger because it makes it so quick to apply foundation! It is great if you like to tap and sweep your foundation on. 106 is great if you like to tap and buff in circles.
Do you put sunscreen before primer and when do you use setting spray as opposed to setting powder?
I do sunscreen before primer if SPF is clear, if it has a pigment to I do it after primer. Setting powder first, then setting spray last :)
Question-Do the setting sprays have fragrance? If so can you describe them.
The setting spray i use is urban decay alnighter, Charlotte tillbury and loreal one i use are all very lightly scented but just watch alcohol in them , it can dry your skin out!!
Great video !! you look flawless😊
Thank you so much! xoxo
