Lisa this video is SO GOOD! And Thank you for the love on my video! Also, these were such great products used, between Boi-ing concealer and Mac refined golden bronzer 🙌🏼 definitely picked up some tips from watching this!
I've been wearing makeup for 55 years, but I loved this video. There's always something to learn, and you're a great teacher. You're kind, unthreatening and non-judgmental. Thanks for a fun tutorial.
I loved this video. You're a great teacher and I can really follow along and learn more about the brushes. Would you do this for intermediate type eye shadow looks that are a bit bolder and maybe use your palette? I sure would love that!
Traci, I agree about learning something new in every video. I've been wearing makeup regularly for about 45 years and wouldn't miss any of Lisa's videos, they were full of little hidden gems.
I started following Nikki La Rose just yesterday, after watching her "tried every blush at Sephora" video. When I meet an overachiver, I follow to pick any possible breadcrumbs in their wake.
Can you please do a video explaining how to properly apply cream shadow on older eyelids? Spent so much money on the Charlotte Tisbury cream shadow and now I have no idea what to do with it! Thanks...love your videos!
Same here…I would love to see a video showing us a proper application of the sort of “wet” type of cream shadows. I also have the CT cream shadows and struggle with getting them applied on my older eyelids. And Lisa, thank you for all your videos. You are a natural beauty and I appreciate your “Be Kind” approach to beauty.❤
I'm 68 years of age and, not only did I love this video, I appreciated it!! So many great tips for those of us that want to continue learn and stay beautiful! Thank you😊
Thank you for sharing this video! I'm 45 years old and am trying to get back into wearing makeup after not wearing it since high school. Your tips and tricks will definitely help me.
Also I’ve also just learned that by reading the mascara wand as close as you can get it on your upper eye line does in fact give the look of tight lining without actually tight lining! Love that you shared that! ❤❤❤
Lisa, I just grabbed the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Le Rouge Lipstick in Unending Kiss and LOVE it!!! Thanks so much for recommending it. I am not a big lipstick wearer, and this color is perfect! 💗
Lisa I have so many of your brushes and I learn so much from you and as I’m 67 years old your make up tips are really helping me. You’re the best and keep the videos coming! Living in San Antonio I understand where you’re coming from in reference to our weather. Blessings ❤
Thank you for sharing Nikki La Rose's RUclips account. Both of you are wonderful and share great suggestions and have in depth knowledge of makeup and its application.
I recently came across your channel and have learned so much about makeup application from you. Since I am recently retired, this one is very helpful for the days when I want a minimal look. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I am definitely a late bloomer when it comes to skincare and makeup. I have only started to wear makeup after turning 50! I am loving all the natural makeup looks and I am having so much fun.
Hi Lisa. I appreciate the less makeup tutorial since I am retired I don’t put on a full face of make up every day so for those days when maybe I’m just running a few errands I can use the less make up look and still feel pretty. I love watching your videos. You are so uplifting and make me feel better. Just watching your pretty face.
I have been binge watching your videos for 2 days. I used to wear makeup everyday while I was working but I retired 10 years ago and got out of the habit. My skin is always broken out so I need makeups that are non-comedogenic. I love your natural results and hope you can help me find the right products for aging broken out skin. I want t be pretty too!
Thank you for this video! I saw that Nikki video and it was great but now at 46 yo I'm having a hard time figuring out which products and techniques work for me.....I cant do my makeup the same way anymore!
This video was excellent!!! Thank you!!! My daughter is getting ready to attend high school and I think it will be good for her also! Thank you for helping both of us!🙏
I always do shadow as liner as well sometimes alone sometimes with pencil. I love how you demoed the 206 BK brush because I have that set and now I have a new way of using it for simple looks! Thank you ! ❤
This was Great Lisa, I really miss watching makeup tutorials, that’s what got me interested in RUclips videos from the beginning, I knew nothing about applying makeup and you were the first RUclipsr that I started to follow and learn from your knowledge and experience, there doesn’t seem to be many actual full tutorials around anymore sadly, it’s just sharing new products that are being released from different companies, I’d love to see more of these kind of videos again in the future. Thank You for sharing a very simple, yet lovely makeup tutorial, I very much enjoyed watching. Happy Easter 🐣 to You, Paul, Brooklyn and Kate, Hope you all have a Wonderful Easter Weekend. Much Love 💗 from Janelle xxxx 🐰🐰🐣🐣🐥🐥
Have a Beautiful Day, Lisa! Great tips for blending eyeliner for softness and staying power and using a warmer bronzer for double duty as a blush. You're a GREAT teacher and love watching Nikki too! xo
Bc of watching one of your faves which is absolutely one of my faves Nikki La Rose is the lovely MUA I heard and saw your amazing brushes and I made my first order of your Holy Grail Trio just yesterday! ❤ I cannot wait to use your brushes and also eventually buy every single one of them! Love You two awesome women!
Love this video with all the detailed tips like how the different way the brush is held provides different looks and how you explain the different looks that result from the density and shape of the brushes. More like this please!
Thanks for this awesome video. I've been struggling with makeup for years because I don't really want too much on my face. This video really really was for me !
Wonderful video Lisa! You are the one that taught me to 'set' my eyeliner with shadow...what a difference it has made on my hooded aging eyes! Stays in place literally ALL DAY! I'm in Houston so we are hot and humid 9 months of the year. THANK YOU!!!
Loved the tutorial. I am new to wearing makeup. I am watching as many videos as are out there. I have learned a lot . The most important is the tools used. I have purchased BK beauty brushes the essential face and small eye brushes love them!!!❤❤❤❤ I loved them so much I bought the Nikki la Rose brush set. Thank you for all that you do for the community. ❤❤❤
This is the first video of yours I have watched and it has been so helpful, can’t wait to watch more of your tutorial videos. I want to teach myself make up and all the channels I’d come across so far really pile on the make up, I like that you have a much more natural look. I wants to wear make-up but not look like I’m wearing make-up. Also intrigued that you have videos about more mature skin. I am nearly 40 and had no idea make up techniques need to change as you age
Very easy and realistic for me to accomplish. I appreciate the blush/bronzer tip. When I learned about makeup I was just copying what I saw around me. As a result, I used bronzer as my blush and have never changed. I'm 56 now, who knows, maybe back in the early 80's our blush was a bronzer...before it's time!?
Enjoyed this video even though I'm not a newby to applying makeup. Can always learn something new. You introduced me to Alastin and I love it! it does work well alone or under my foundation. Also like applying the Jane Iredale powder foundation on top. That stuff is amazing. I am older and usually avoid powder but this one is not like normal powder foundations. It does have a blurring effect too. You are a talented teacher!
Thank you, Lisa for this video. I liked learning more about the basics. Have you done a video showing the difference your smaller eye brushes for hooded eyelids work.
Great video! Great tips! I have never heard of anyone saying to use powder over the eyeliner on the lower lash line to stop it migrating. I always thought it was my mascara, but it was probably my eyeliner. I am 52 and have trouble applying blush. After watch this video I may be using too harsh of a color. I am going to try a more neutral tone.
Hi Lisa. I was a late bloomer, well into my 50’s, in taking care of my skin and right makeup use. I discovered your videos within the last year or so and learning a lot from you. You are lovely, inside and out. I like this simpler makeup routine you showed. And I appreciate your emphasis on using daily sunscreen. I also love your BK Beauty brushes the best! They are well made and deliver the results. I have also purchased your lip products and enjoy the lip liners and lipstick. They glide on and feel great on the lips. Thank you for your tutorials and recommendations. You are a great teacher. I look forward to your videos.
I've also used makeup for 45 years - and followed along with regards to new trends, products, and brands, but this subtle "almost no-makeup" look is absolutely gorgeous, you look stunning, Lisa (well, you always do). I would go on a first date or a job interview with this look. As you said, the focus should be on the person, not the makeup. Couldn't agree more. Despite my many years of experience, I always - as in always - learn something new from you. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and skills. ❤🙏❤🥰👍😊🌞
This was a great video Lisa. I am not a big makeup wearer. But have been experimenting more after watching you! You are such an inspiration! Always exciting to see what you will show us next 🥰 I did have a quick question, is the Alastin HydraTint Pro Mineral Broad Spectrum Sunscreen good for dry, sensitive skin? It’s been a struggle to find a nice everyday mineral sunscreen for mature, dry skin.
Hi Lisa, your videos are more therapeutic than anything else....I'm a makeup wearer myself but admittedly, I did learn some new tricks....thank u and look forward to watching more simplistic videos like these...take good care of yourself...
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and opinions with us. And your informative instructional videos. They are so helpful. And you have a great canvas in which to start from ! Mac lost a great instructor, but we, your audience, have greatly benefitted and so appreciate your time, patience and expertise. 🌞🌷🕊️
Loved this video. Much to be gained from having a "Beginner Mind". We can pick up some unintentional habits along the way and can benefit from a "declutter". Thanks!
I am an older viewer, 69. This make up application was very helpful for older women who now need the less is more look. To my recollection, you have not done a video on how to adapt looks for glasses wearers.

Yes, I saw that!! She's amazing.
I saw that one, too! Her poor cheeks!! 😂❤
@@lesliehatch-herman9325 *Some* of us apparently have a teflon skin barrier!
Idk who Nikki is or who you are, but the fact that you are giving an inspirational shoutout makes me immediately like you.
I love watching Nikki

That eyeliner in that shade is my go to eyeliner. Also the nyx epic wear in brown shimmer and the Bareminerals in topaz❤

How and why you use/choose the brushes you do is so very helpful!!
I have been wearing makeup for years but still got a lot out of this video. It also showed me how I can create a more simple but beautiful look.

I have an olive cool to neutral skin tone. Red leaning bronzers look natural on me for blush/bronze instead of peachy orange tones. Love this video.
I totally feel like I’m in make up school every time I watch Nikki’s videos. Super informative!
Super,helpful. Especially the liner tips
Thank you for these great tips! I recently found your channel and am loving it.
Thanks Lisa. I prefer tutorials rather than sales!!

Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you Vickie!
May I ask about your nails? Are they salon or press! I love the delicate almond shape and beautiful milky hue!
Thank you Kelly! They are salon.
Loved this video. Much to be gained from having a "Beginner Mind". We can pick up some unintentional habits along the way and can benefit from a "declutter". Thanks!
I liked the mascara tip . Tight lining is hard and usually the product irritates my eyes. Learning to get that look with mascara was great.
She has great tips. I love how you teach me as well .. I’ll watch her. I never knew about her 😮😮😮omg. Where have I been
Beautiful look Lisa. You gave a lot of useful tips. Everyday is a light makeup look for me. I almost always reach for BK Beauty lipstick. I love it.
I picked up how to sketch on eye liner - wow good to know. Also how to apply mascara! Great video would love to see more like this! Thanks.
I am an older viewer, 69. This make up application was very helpful for older women who now need the less is more look. To my recollection, you have not done a video on how to adapt looks for glasses wearers.
Love this! Ty.
