What I would really like to see across all platforms where beauty is being talked about it’s not only the make up how good it looks when you first put it on but how good it lasts throughout the day. We all look wonderful when we first put on make up on it’s fresh it’s dewy . Our lips are glossy and plump. Well, as far as lipstick goes if you eat anything or drink anything within five minutes, most of the time that glossy lip is gone and the foundation fails and creases the blush disappears. This is where a good make up job excels. It’s where it’s not only looks good in the morning, but it still looks good in the afternoon and evening. Personally I prefer a long extensive tutorial over a short one

Stayed till the very end. Love it, I learned a lot even tho I am a professional makeup artist. Just have not touched makeup since my son … passed. And I am on a break from doing my radio and television show my makeup clients. Can barely leave the den and or my bedroom the two places I can be completely alone. A lot happens from the first minute you hear your child is gone forever and son’s and mom’s have an extra special bond like dad’s and their daughters. Now I am having such severe anxiety, massive anxiety, it’s horrible. I am not in my hometown… miss my family and friends from Montreal…
Thank you Lisa you are amazing in every way!

@@joyfulmother7 Hi! Beautiful moniker… thank you so very much for your kind words. I really truly appreciated it. You are very kind joyful mom! I was a joyful mother of one beautiful son. It hurts so much it is like living in an nightmare. Enjoy your child or children, every minute! He was fun, funny, inspiring and everything that is pure and good. I miss him like crazy. I just got two very small urns today. I will put one in my bedroom a pearlized heart and a blue tiny vase veey pretty he loved the colour blue. Sorry for going on and on. Big hug to or for you!

God bless you as you walk through this journey. Keep in mind that your beautiful son isn’t gone forever as his spirit and soul lives on forever and you will see him again. I actually get encouragement from visits from butterflies from my brother, dragonflies from his wife which was my best friend, and their daughter, my niece through sunbeams and hummingbirds. Not like reincarnations but just little visits from heaven when I need them. Look for those little messages from your son as you hang on to everything precious about him. Big hug to you! 🥰

As a makeup newbie, I really appreciate this type of video. I learned quite a few things that I will try out starting tomorrow morning such as smudging the kohl liner out WITH the shadow, over lining lips TO the edge and not over and getting a wider line of the lip liner to have it wear more evenly, doing the light shadow into the sides of the nose and not waiting so long for skin care to fully absorb before starting makeup. Not to mention what eyeshadow brushes work best for each application. TY so much!! ❤

Thank you for showing how to put serum under the eyes, after foundation/before concealer, and in what condition your skin is in. My biggest battle is trying to brighten that area without emphasizing lines/texture.

LOL! This mature makeup lover will NEVER give up her shimmer/glitter eyeshadow. I have very, very hooded eyes and my hood itself is actually quite large and even puffy. (I have a lot of hood territory between my upper lashline and my eyebrows.) I nearly always wear some shade of 'glistening' bright shadow and/or eyeliner along the lashline to bring a bit of brightness to my eyes, and then I tightline to add darkness along the lashline without losing that light I brought to the lower part of my upper lid. I'll even add some of that glimmer to my lower lashline, usually in a soft brown shade that adds a subtle shadow along my mostly non-existent lower lashes since I can't wear mascara there. I often wish I could wear a wing, but my eye shape makes me incompatible with that gorgeous wing. I envy everyone who can pull off that wing!

I love that you showed all the ways to use these brushes! I have the set but I did want another concealer brush as that brush works so great and I just ordered it! It’s so nice to see these tips because we forget some of them when in a hurry. I especially loved the tips on the eyes! I am now older but my eyes are what makes me look “put together” and these were some great tips so they aren’t over done. Longer than usual but great information and very worth the time! ❤

I LOVE your makeup tutorials. You pack so much of your expert knowledge into each step. I also appreciate you demonstrating all of the brushes in the set. So many times I purchase a set of brushes and only use a few of them because I don’t fully understand what they can do. I did watch all the way to the end! I think my biggest takeaway was to keep more light on the eyes further out from the middle and maybe only color on the outer 1/3. I am a more mature woman and love all of the tips for older women. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. You are a great teacher.
