I love DMB balm powder and let me just say you did a wonderful job creating this look. Now I have to get the universal balm and purchase the serum foundation. Overall, you look fresh and youthful; Danessa has that in mind when creating this line. Will add a few more color fixes in my car too.
I’m so happy I found you. It’s so hard to find people who are my complexion. We are both medium peachy undertoned and that’s so hard to find sometimes. Most of the time complexion products have too much gold undertone or orange. I need this in my oily skinned life.

This looks so natural in its finish while providing decent coverage. Totally LOVE it! Not entirely sure what shade I would need, though. For reference, I wear MAC Pro Longwear Nourishing WP Foundation in NW30 winter, and NW35 in summer, or Fenty Profilt'r Hydrating Longwear Foundation in 260 winter.

I’m so excited!! I’ve been waiting for this!! I used to use balm primers and they were both discontinued, Mally Face Defender and Benefit Dr. Feelgood. I haven’t found anything similar till now.

@@anniezion yes. It’s very similar, at least it looks and feels the same way! Unfortunately the DM balm breaks me out so I can’t wear it daily. I wish I could because it makes me look flawless. It’s not a terrible break out but it usually gives me one of those deep cystic acne pimples. I’ll still wear it when I need to look good of my makeup to hold up well. It may not break you out. I definitely think you should try it because it is indeed very much like Dr. Feelgood. Who knows, maybe my skin changed with age and the Dr. Feelgood might bother me too. I haven’t had it in years.

I have tendencies to break out easily as well, but I am planning on only using it in t-zone mostly, so🤞it won't be an issue. I know what you mean, you never really know what's gonna trigger it.. I use tretinoin though, so much less of that now. Have you tried Clarins "Instant smooth", it's not really a setting product, but works a bit like Dr feelgood, erase pores and mattifies skin. It contains zink oxide, so no break out from it. Thanks again and take care!🌸

These products look so good on your face and I love the Colorfix that you have on your eyes! I think I will skip this since my skin seems to hate anything with HA but I think this will be a summertime savior for many 💪
@@GlamGirlChelsea every foundation that I try that has HA seems to evaporate all of the moisture from my skin. I think it’s ok if I use it in my skincare and seal it in with moisturizer but when it’s in foundation there’s often not enough to lock it in. I had issues with the YUMMY Skin, CT Beautiful Skin, and the new Kosas 😭
@@SofiaSeesBeauty aaahhhh that makes sense! I guess we need someone to come out with a foundation that has an occlusive in it so if the foundation does have HA, it doesn’t suck the moisturize out of your skin!
My degree is in biology, so I’ve had to take a plethora of science classes. That said, I really enjoyed how you incorporated the science behind some of the ingredients of this product! Definitely going to look into buying it! I’ve already loved the couple of Danessa products that I’ve bought. Thank you so much for this video because I couldn't find anyone with a video of shade #5. I tend to need a foundation with a yellow undertone. Hopefully I can lightly dust it with a little banana finishing powder to cancel out the peach 🍑 undertone in this balm powder. I really like that its skin loving and can be worn by several different skin tones per shade. I will definitely purchase 5 & 7. This summer I will blend them together to give me a slightly deeper shade and use 7 for my bronzer effect.
I’m so puzzled with this product - LOL. Having trouble wrapping my head around a balm that doesn’t leave your complexion dewy or shiny. Hard to think that a powder is a balm???! I have combo skin so this intrigues me and make me nervous all at the same time. If I wanted to get one (not going ham like you my friend 🤣) what would you recommend - the translucent that I could use as a primer and a setting powder OR a tinted one that I could use to set a tinted moisturizer (like the Shiseido or Tower 28 or even over Lilah b’s virtuous veil concealer on a no makeup makeup day)?? Would love your opinion : )

Oh wow! That’s so interesting to hear about your skin and HA. How did you deduce your skin didn’t agree with HA?
@@GlamGirlChelsea every foundation that I try that has HA seems to evaporate all of the moisture from my skin. I think it’s ok if I use it in my skincare and seal it in with moisturizer but when it’s in foundation there’s often not enough to lock it in. I had issues with the YUMMY Skin, CT Beautiful Skin, and the new Kosas 😭
@@SofiaSeesBeauty aaahhhh that makes sense! I guess we need someone to come out with a foundation that has an occlusive in it so if the foundation does have HA, it doesn’t suck the moisturize out of your skin!

Thank you so much for this video because I couldn't find anyone with a video of shade #5. I tend to need a foundation with a yellow undertone. Hopefully I can lightly dust it with a little banana finishing powder to cancel out the peach 🍑 undertone in this balm powder. I really like that its skin loving and can be worn by several different skin tones per shade. I will definitely purchase 5 & 7. This summer I will blend them together to give me a slightly deeper shade and use 7 for my bronzer effect.

I’m so puzzled with this product - LOL. Having trouble wrapping my head around a balm that doesn’t leave your complexion dewy or shiny. Hard to think that a powder is a balm???! I have combo skin so this intrigues me and make me nervous all at the same time. If I wanted to get one (not going ham like you my friend 🤣) what would you recommend - the translucent that I could use as a primer and a setting powder OR a tinted one that I could use to set a tinted moisturizer (like the Shiseido or Tower 28 or even over Lilah b’s virtuous veil concealer on a no makeup makeup day)?? Would love your opinion : )
Hahaha the anomaly is the ingredient Upsalite. It’s just genius! And regarding which shade to get, answer this: how would you prefer to use it? Based on your answer, that’s the shade you should get.
